I love how Clorinde enters the scene like she's Raiden Shogun with the Musou No Hitotachi (and a gun). Lol

What I really like about the trailer for 4.0 is that many of the events are purposefully misdirected. This scene in the trailer for example looked like, Clorinde was the one leading them into battle

Silver and Melus, the true heroes of Fontaine. *4.2 spoilers* Rest now, valiant companions and most trusted friends.

Clorinde is like a mini-Raiden Shogun, and Navia is like a five-star Noelle.

The fight animations just keep getting better😭

Fontaine surpassed all of my expectations, well done for Dev team!

While it isn't seen in game, I like the fact that although they're mechanical, the Gardemeks actually have strategy behind them. Like in 1:20 where the Gardemeks first shield against Clorinde's attack, but then holds the shields in order for the other one to shoot. I really like little details like this because it tells us why Navia wasn't able to defeat them earlier; because while she's trained in the sword she doesn't have as much experience in dealing with these sorts of scenarios unlike Clorinde; who easily cuts through their defense because as the Opera Epiclese' Champion Duelist she's seen and fought with a lot of different people with their own unique strategies.

You can tell how the animation team grew within the 3 years of genshin

Navia and Neuvillette were the main highlights of these two archon quests, but Clorinde deserves love too with her overall iconicness in such little screentime. Man, can't wait for these three to come out, they're my favorites of the Fontaine cast!! edit: can't wait for "Father" to show up too lol

1:09 DUDE the way Clorinde deflects the bullets with her sword is just SO BADASS :D + Fontaine has been absolutely amazing so far, delightful characters and engaging stories, with amazing visuals and music! Hoyo really outdid themselves with 4.0 :)

I really love how this really set the stage. The writing of the Archon Quest is thankfully on par with Sumeru - top tier. Love the two femmes here~ All characters are well utilized thankfully, compared to Inazuma.

Navia has some gravy control my guess is she makes herself lighter. Her first slash up, the swords momentum pulled her up into the air. During her spinning jump she pulls the sword close to the center of her body because, like an ice skater, moving the center of gravity to the middle increases speed, allowing her 3 full rotations. And when she gets kicked back it is the sword that is being thrown not her, you can tell from the motion that the center of gravity is close to her hand when it should be her body that has more mass.

Clorinde is very scary with her cold gaze and combat ability. She is really the stronger human in Fontaine.

And that's when I wanted to pull for Clorinde, Your Honor.

Man Navia is so precious as cinnamon roll. She is the kind of partner I would 100% love to protect and to trust my back at the same time. The way she expresses her emotion and willingness to treat us to dinner even though her finances were not much, proven how precious she is. Oh yeah don't forget her crying scene.

These Archon Quests are what keep me so interested in this game. They are soo good, the voice acting is top notch, and this quest in particuliar was so full of heart, emotion, shock, redemption, and joy. 🥰
