even a non pvp engineered cutter with the right weapons, shield and thruster engineering ( not giving away what ) will always kill even a pvp engineered corvette because it has the speed to dictate the fight, it can enguage when it wants take a break when it wants and keep distance when it wants and thinking about it now there comes a point where the more armour or boosters you put on the vette for pvp the worse it becomes against the above hinted at cutter. In the absence of atmosphere with vacume 0G flight model SPEED is the determining factor
Is it just me or is it that most the time when they post this crap the Corvette pilot don't really do much shit I mean yeah the cutter is a good ship but when you vs a actually Corvette veteran with proper build it's like basically an even dead match
I used the vette quite a lot before I bothered getting imperial rank. Vette is really strong in 1v1s for sure but you can never kill anything cos it's so slow. In wing it's really weak due to its speed, whereas the cutter can keep up with mediums pretty easily.
@@jamenator94 it's not really about keeping up with this ship and that ship all ships have a roll the Corvette is the sword and shield while you are in a wing have someone in a fast maneuverable ship and a medium dps ship I kill alot of little to big ships see that's the problem not many people use the ships for what they are intended for then they bitch how it's not doing what they want it to do. The Corvette is a pure military ship meant for taking on big ships simple as that yeah can you use it as a trader sure an explorer sure a pirate ship sure ect ect.
@@vlatepes1901 Sure, like I said the vette is strong 1v1. It is ass in wing though, it's insanely easy to hit and anyone you focus can just straight-line away, you end up chasing the fight unless you exclusively fight idiots.
