Great video. I have not taken my Pro out of the box yet that I purchased earlier in the week. Hobby Lobby has them on clearance. I've read that many people love these trimmers but just as many don't which makes me torn. So glad it works well for you! I really appreciate you explaining how you have to press in and down while cutting. TFS

I’ve had mine for a while. I love the ability to cut such small slivers off paper. I wiped black acrylic paint over the ruler to make them easier to see. I brought this to the crop in May and didn’t find it too bulky to transport or use. The light is amazing!!

I got the cutterpillar crop for Christmas last year and absolutely love it. I got the crop only because I don't have a lot of space to have the pro.

Oh and when I bought the crop I also got the cutterpillar glow and absolutely love it. If you do anything where you need a light underneath your project to cut, trace, or anything like that it is awesome.

I painted some white shoe polish like product over it, made sure it got into all the depressions that mark the measurements. THen before it dried I wiped it off the surface leaving the white in the crevices. Now all the markings are easy to see on the ruler and table. SO easy to see the measurement. Terrific.

I just ordered a Cutter Pillar Crop and I am happy to hear that it cuts beautifully and really thin. I have not been satisfied with my various Fiskars. I can’t seem to work properly with the wire guide, even though Fiskars have replaced it in the past. It always frays. Thanksfor the review. Jeannine

Thanks for the review. I have been looking at this for a while now. I'm still trying to make up my mind. Your review was very helpful. I'm just praying I'll still have paper to cut after Florence gets through with us. I must say it's getting very scary and I'm inland near Raleigh. Please help me pray for North Carolina. xoxo Linda

Now that you've had it for a couple of years how do you like it? How do you like it? Still straight nice cuts? Will the light shine through medium weight card stock? I'm guessing it doesn't have a bottom ruler ledge to butt the paper up to.

I’ve had the crop one for awhile and I just can’t get the hang of it.....it’s never straight :( and it’s so bulky

Thanks! I have been waiting for this one! Question! I do a lot of projects like make and takes or things where I need to cut several pieces of paper at a time.. have you tried that?

@@HeatherscraftyLife yes, you talk about a trimmer that allows you to gut the centre. Was looking for a little guidance on this, was hoping you could make a video on it or maybe you'd have a link to one. Was going to buy the cutterpiller pro but I like the sound of one that can gut the centre so I would like to look into that but don't know where to start.

I’ve had mine for 4 years now and while I love that I’ve never had to buy a new blade, I HATE that it doesn’t always cut straight. New Years resolution: get rid of it. I’d rather buy new blades than have crooked cuts.

Based on what I'm seeing is that you can't really measure and cut things less than 1". You'd have to do math and subtract. That's be a possible third con. Any thoughts?

Melodee, I have the Cutterpillar crop. I was able to wipe the numbers with white paint and then clean away the excess. I now can see my numbers crystal clear. It has made such a difference!

MsLaurajudd actually I love it but it takes up so much space! I am currently using another one because I got it as a gift and it takes up less room. So if you have space or get the smaller version yes I recommend it.
