Felt bad for Stew during the pasta round. He could have destroyed both of them at once, had he given the pasta sculpture to Jason. Honest mistake though. Anyone would assume that everyone picked up pasta.

To be fair it almost worked out, if Jason didn't had that rubber band on his plate I think Antonia would have eliminated Bobby for using too many types of pasta in the dish.

as soon as i saw the rubber band while they plating the dishes i knew Jason was going home that round i saw it in his bowl while he was dishing it out and i was like, "ohhh i hope that didn't make it into his plate..."

Chef Jason deserved the win. The rubber band was a mistake, but were I judge of that dish that he made almost perfectly, I wouldn't have kicked him out for a minor mistake like that.
never put anything on the plate that isn't intended to be eaten. I once saw (on chopped) someone decorate their dish with a chicken claw (as a tribute to their mother??) and if gone unnoticed, would have been ingested. Jason's dish seemed to be the best, but the rubber band was a fatal error and he deserved to go.
What if the judge accidentally ate the rubber band? That's not minor. It's fatal. Besides as mentioned by the judge, plating is part of what she's lookin for. So having said that, I think it's just right for him to be eliminated on that round.
Actually the fact that he cut the asparagus with the rubber band still on it meant that he also didn't wash it. So that's already 2 issues with the dish.
