Hi, thanks ! I just used a 30V 10A benchtop power supply with the ( - minus) connected to the electrode and ( + plus) connected to the workpiece.

How do you control it so that it doesn't just short circuit?

I'm using some code for Marlin that reads the current and controls the motion in a way that keeps it constant. It moves the axis between the last and next GCODE position to keep the distance between electrode and workpiece steady.
