I cut a Pixie cut on myself to see how hard it is. It's a bit hard.
I did notice later that I did cut myself behind my ear so definitely go at this with caution.

I would never do this. It's not worth all of the pain. You are extremelyprecise. I will not ever attempt it, nor should anyone. It's very hard and it's really needed to have been done by anyone other than anyone who watches this, just don't try it. You will eff it up. Free! You must be joking! You need all ghost gadgets and have a very strong physique to even try this. Please ladies. Please go to a hairdresser. They can eff it up but it's 30£ and I can see her baldy patches. It's really not a joke 😮

As a barber i have to say you did an amazing job there, and you made it look so soft and as I cut my own hair with clippers I know it takes some practise but it's very satisfying. Well done!

I have been cutting my hair for years now, and have full length mirrors, one on the back of the door and one on the wall, so I can easily see the back and both sides. I added a small shelf for clippers and scissors and some good lights, and i cut my hair every couple of weeks, sometimes the undercut, sometimes the top, sometimes both. Having a good setup definitely helps. You have done a beautiful job, kudos!

I've cut my own pixie cuts for roughly 13 years. It is SO hard to get it right. I've gotten it wrong soooo many times. And you did such a beautiful job! Wow!

I actually maintained a pixie haircut on myself during several years, not as professional as you of course, because the point of my hair is that I did like it going in every direction and being very messy and lively. It did work with my loose curl texture. I used the same technique as you to buzz the back though ;)

It looks gorgeous on you and really well cut. I have cut my pixie cut for the last 60 ayears in exactly the same way you have done yours. I just don't like going to the hairdressers and getting wrong cuts. My hair grow extremely fast, 1/2 inch a week so it's cut twice monthly before stepping in the shower. Well done on a brilliant job.❤

I am a retired hairdresser and have cut my own pixie cut for years. It is definitely not easy but the way you held the hair and the scissors tell me that you are pro. You did a great job and I don’t believe that this was your first time cutting hair. You obviously had training

What do u mean not 10/10! I Could not imagine it looking any better! I’ve been growing my hair out from a buzz for over a year now, and a couple days ago cut the back and now is much more like a one length hairstyle. (Bit shorter than my chin) Turned out really well, too. I know what you mean about femininity. I hate it when women say they can’t do something because they wouldn’t be able to “pull it off” - I think that’s more of a mindset. Been much enjoying growing my hair out this time (2nd time after the first time I cut it into a pixie) by learning to embrace every stage.. lol and trying not to cut it again and again. And I’d definitely shave my head again in a heartbeat

I gave myself a haircut last year. My hair was bob cut and wanted to cut it short, like a pixie cut but a bit longer. So I watched some tutorials on youtube and cut my own hair. I had to put a big mirror behind me and the cutting process was not easy, it was tricky as hell! I had to adjust what I saw in the mirror and my own body/head/hands movements, because like you said the back part is the hardest! Never ever will I cut my own hair again! (but the result was pretty amazing though, I got a few compliments from friends, but in the end I decided to go to my hairstylist just to make it look neater).

Have you cut you’re own hair before I agree short hair on women suits them very well I prefer having shorter hair too. It’s easier to manage and it doesn’t take me so long to wash it like before also my hair is much healthier too. You did a good job in cutting it yourself.

Downside to pixie it gets bits growing out of line drives me crazy in a matter of a week after it's cut any indiscretions will show my ocd goes mad I quite often too often get the scissors at it and I'm sure my hairdresser thinks why hasn't this grown !!! But it's my mop mine no one else's... right?.if I had my hair like yours in the morning I'd be vvvv happy as I don't it looks an evil mess...it's a myth that short hair is easy to look after it's not ok it's a pain! The worst unruly area is ears behind above they just go fluffy awful no matter how short it's cut in no time looks like furry mits ...but I'm ocd so it's probably miniscule to worry over 🤔😑that pillow looks cool I need one !!
