A quick shot at the end of what the cut boards looked like would have been nice. You know splash some water on there, really make that grain pop, just saying.
Yes! If it's just a nail it only takes a few teeth off but if it's a piece of rebar or something like that it usually ruins the blade. In this case it was a piece a rebar and it it stopped the saw, toasting the blade!
