With the previous comment made, its' obvious they know what their talking about. Not this ole man. I'm a Concrete Jungle Dweller and know nothing about farm equipment, but learning from what you share with us. That's why I watch farm/dairy videos. Thank You for the CC; and for making eye contact every now & then, but mainly keeping an eye on what's going on around you, which is by far, more important. Good content.
Good job on replacing a "sickle-section", the sickle is all the "sickle-sections" on the sickle bar, . No big deal of course, but thought you might like to know, , Because if you go to the parts store, and ask for a new "sickle" that is what you will get,, the 12 foot (or whatever length) bar with all the knives on it.
@@minnesotafarmer3177 ,, ya, it's no sweat, we learn as we go. Another question, do you find that finishing planting in the Spring is most satisfying, or the final harvest in the fall, or the final tillage , as being the most satisfying part of crop production?
@@theda850two I’d say the most satisfying part is watching the crop grow over the year and then seeing it all stacked in the shed or sitting in a bin when it’s all over and having a sigh of relief it all worked out
Get out of the habit of doing a quick fix/repair with Tractor/ Machinery running. Not a question if you lose a limb, etc. but when if you continue with that way of doing things .
