Cutting Back Yarrow 

My golden yarrow has grown so much, and with the heavy rains, it was all flopping over into the pathway. I should have staked it, and that will be another project soon. I want to add to the bamboo border, so I needed to cut back the yarrow. Usually, I hang some golden yarrow in the house, but this floppy yarrow is curled up and not good for hanging. So all that I cut back will go into the compost. I read years ago that yarrow leaves speed the composting process, so none of this plant will go to waste. Next is figuring out how I want to stake this lovely herb.
