Had a good time watching this, but man is this horrendous 😭, removing the coolest class in the game, comparing drastically different weapons when they are more similar weapons to compare saying vds, jet and bp are in the same group, saying hydra is more interesting than bp which is the most aggressive backline in the game with 2 different range values and a ton of depth and the list goes on and on lol Great vid though
I think cutting sploosh but not aerospray is a mistake. Sploosh is one of the few short range shooters I genuinely think carves out a proper niche. With aerospray you get an insane amount of paint, but aside from that there's not a whole lot that's unique about the weapon. Its role and weaknesses are too similar to junior just without the unique ink tank mechanics, not to mention whole point of short range shooters is that all of them can get an insane amount of paint. Sploosh differs in its insane dps, and bearing the fastest swim speed and acceleration in the game. This is made even more prominent if you were to eliminate 52 gal, as it's sploosh's biggest competition for the "run into the enemy base, get a few picks and die" role within the shooter class.

Goo-tuber isn't great competitive wise, but it's one of the most fun weapons to play in Anarchy open, but yeah, I would probably get rid of it over the other chargers too since it is the least important. I would've gotten rid of Squifer over Bamboozler though because Bamboozler is more unique while Squifer is just a charger that can charge in the air.

He was on point regarding brushes. The sp3 team never gives enough power to it's heavies making them all kinda underwhelming. October brush is the more offensive of then tho, outpaces pain in a lot of areas. Moves faster, kills just as fast, paints faster. U gotta painbeush Stan for this one lol

Tri slosh is op? Eh, i can never guage players regarding this game. Axing tri for being op but keeping splattershot? Wild. Sploosh got beaten by aero? Diabolical. Bringing back blobber? Lowkey blobber is fun i just wish ppl were better with it. But taking out mini splat? Looky here bud 💀😭😭 Hopefully splatoon 4 will let other weapons besides shooters and range blaster get good kits. Not even gonna mention kraken e litre bruh, peak charger toxicity.
im sorry but entirely cutting swords, probably the best class from a competitive standpoint (all three of em are relatively strong), is just stupid and the reasoning being, that they aren't unique enough, is im my opinion just wrong. if you needed more weapons to cut id say cut one of the chargers (namely pencil) flingza and decav (the honestly most boring of the three swords. aside from that however, id say this video was pretty good and also entertaining (also im glad u didn't cut them tetra dualies)

Brellas were the only accurate ones. Splat and tenta brella are the most distinctive main weapons in their class. Between the two playstyle focuses a brella can have, being flaring and launching, they're the best and most well balanced exemplars of their respective playstyles, without being unable to switch in and out of the opposing playstyles for niche uses. Both of the cut brellas are also more of stepping stones to another weapon within the class-wide scheme. Undercover is a beginner friendly brella which teaches the fundamentals of brella pellets and how/when you should use your shield in fights, which gets all of those mechanics out of the way so once you move onto splat brella you can focus on learning to properly flare which is one of the hardest weapon mechanics. Recycled brella acts similarly as a stepping stone to tenta brella, using it's incredibly fast shield regen time to allow players to experiment with how launched shields can be used for team fights and agressive positioning, the limitations on where shields can be launched, and also getting players used to a longer range, higher combo potential, and slower fire rate, before you move onto tent which is much harder to use but less punishable at higher levels. Both undercover and recycled have their individual uses separate from their superiors, like undercover is a genuinely strong support weapon (though it doesn't have a proper support kit at the moment), and recycled brella can be very aggressive and dive like no other brella can (though it's a bit weak to see developments in this), but overall they still compete for playstyles in a way which makes me think that if their superiors got different kits for each role, their inferiors would struggle even more to create an identity. An example of this would be tenta brella in splatoon 2, which had 2 kits, one with bubble blower and another with ultra stamp which enabled it to play insanely deep within enemy territory. Both tent kits in splatoon 3 however, while not wholly supportive, are definitely made to play closer to and around their team. TLDR: the brellas he kept are better and more defined, and the brellas he deleted are at most stepping stones to learning those better brellas.
