Yes sure. When you divide the total length by spacing you get no of spacing. But if you see there are two bars at both ends..so if you start counting the bars with spacing..like bar1=spacing1, that way u will end up with one bar extra at the corner but it will not have ny spacing. Therefore we add one extra..
