I DID IT! I CUT MY CURLY HAIR! I have been meaning to do this for SOOOOO long, and I finally built up the courage to layer my hair! I did the unicorn cut method and lemme tell you IT WORKS! I’m still debating on if I should go for a fringe/bangs so let me know in the comments if I should do that! Cutting curly hair can be sooo scary because we don’t want to get that infamous TRIANGLE HEAD ;-; watch this video and I’ll walk you through how to get ENDLESS volume in your roots and poppin’ curls!!

Okay y’all!! I need ANSWERS!!! Should I cut bangs/fringe for another video?? I’m SO scared of doing it because I cut bangs when I was 7 (you already know that turned out POOPOO) so I think it scarred me for life. I cut my hair really short and I love it. I looked at manes by Mel and also a triple unicorn hair cut. I learned that the round cut I want is called a Rezzo cut. Something like that. The triple unicorn is probably good for you as well. I did my bangs separately bec I wanted curtain bangs. I’m a curly wavy hair type. I love your hair!

Your hair is sooo long! I get so frustrated with mine and end up chopping it off. I just started regrowing it and some days it’s a hot mess and others it’s pretty good. It’s like the bottom is all scraggly and the top is curly. Never heard of the unicorn cut, might have to try!

Turned out amazing. About to try same thing on my hair as we have very similar hair though mine is a little thicker than yours and a little more curly but almost identical. I’ve cut mine dry every time this way and it turns out good too. The first example of this I ever saw the woman cut hers dry so I didn’t even know it was a thing to wet it until today. 😂
