I want to cut it too, I will do it tomorrow and my mom is also saying that it will grow back if u dont like it. I just feel like I want to do it but i am scared:/
This is great! How impressive that you were able to donate 14 inches of hair!! I bet it feels so light now. I cut my hair the day after my wedding to donate it, and in my research the Little Princess Trust looks like a good and trustworthy organization. I am in the US so I went with Children With Hair Loss. I was able to give them 10 inches, and since I was in a hotel I had to use whatever I could find and hacked at my hair with those tiny, rounded kids' safety scissors. 😂
The last few inches felt like they took years to grow!! But little princes trust are inundated with shorter donations at the moment so I felt best wait it out to get to 14. 10 is still loads though! It must’ve been such an emotional rollercoaster doing it immediately post wedding. And lol I know what scissors you’re talking about - you must’ve had to cut about 3 hairs at a time with those lol
I don't go to the hairdresser's either.. I don't like the forced Smalltalk, I don't like staring at myself for an hour.. My last visit I got; "Your hair is thin isn't it?" "Your roots are quite long aren't they" "The right side of your hair is thinner than the left" "It's quite dry isn't it.." "You've got a lot of grey hair underneath haven't you" And the obligatory"who cut it last?" Added with him trying to balance me and another client I got left with bleach on for too long, he barely cut any of it through lack of time & he didn't have the time to dry it either.. yet he still charged me a fortune 😶 The time before that I asked for a loose wave and walked out looking like Shirley Temple.. Can't see me ever setting foot inside a salon ever again tbh, so I don't blame you for doing your own! Looks great btw 👍👍
Wow that's a lot of comments to pack into one visit! + the bleach incident must've been so stressful damn. it's so sad because i swear lots of people love the salon.. Thanks though :) Mines actually starting to look a little triangular on the grow out lol.. so am getting tempted to getting it done professionally but idk if i can bring myself to do so
