My kids have chores and on Sunday is our deep cleaning day as a family . I have 2 in high school and 2 in elementary and my two oldest have phones but at 830 that phone comes straight to my room and they get it back in the morning , but if grades aren’t met they get phones taken away until grades go up . U have to be strict or u won’t raise adults and they will expect everything to be handed to them as they get older ! And that’s not reality .Love the podcast 🧡💙🧡

Yes I always tell my kids to teach their kids how to do things. I always look forward to your podcasts. I have friends that we last a year without talking and when we talk it’s like we saw each other yesterday.

Definitely the tipping has gotten out of hand! Sometimes I feel obligated, they look at you a certain way after you pay and don’t tip. Like you said if your getting a full service’ they are taking your food to the table; it’s a different story. It’s like every job requires someone’s services, your not going to go around tipping the customer service rep for helping you solve an issue.

That suegra is messed up for that. I have a 21 yr old & if she was treated like that, I would not be ok with that, and tell her she needs to think twice about marrying into that family.

What if the boyfriend said something to the mom about the girlfriend that then maybe made the mom not like her? Example, maybe her man & her were having problems or algo así & he went and told his mama & now his mama is like viéndola con ojos de no te quiero pa mi hijo???? 😅

First and foremost, the suegra is wrong for giving the cold shoulder without stating a reason for it. 2nd, her man should have gone with her and asked his mom what's going on? Of course, in a nice way but with both present to resolve this "misunderstanding." 3rd, for the other nueras to not have a relationship with her where they look out for eachother in fam situations is also wrong. They are the 3 coming into a family. There should be some sort of comradery there. Hopefully, this is resolved before the 4th year.
