Love my magnetic plate!! Have been using it for one year now and comtinues to preform great! It will get a "bow" in it but doesn't harm performanc in any way. Just flip it over occasionally to even out usage. I have always put my paper down, "pretty side" up and then my die, cutting side down. I use the same layering of plates as you mentioned in the video. Great product and love using it with my 3 year old Cuttlebug!! (Some intricate dies I do put a used dryer sheet under the paper, then continue to layer with the die cutting side down and then 2nd B plate.)

GmaPat89...Thank you so much... I just love the Cuttlebug and your wonderful hints.... I understand they are not making Cuttlebugs anymore.... I love using it.... Let's stay in touch.... We were without power and internet for 4 days due to a Snow Storm that we normally don't get.....You have a wonderful day..... ^_^

where do you find the magnetic plate and 2 b plates for the cuttle bug? I have internet searched and nothing comes up

@@dianewolfbauer8870 the company quit producing the plates we need to use with Cuttlebug! Not sure where you might find them, if not on eBay or an internet site. My plates are still useable, and I did buy 2 extra plates about 4 or 5 years ago, because I found them at JoAnn’s and knew I’d need them.

I’ve had these for several years...can’t find them any more, unless someone on eBay happens to be selling some. Very upset that they didn’t give anyone a warning that they weren’t going to make these very necessary accessories to be able to use the Cuttlebug and other machines we bought to make die cuts. I love card crafting, and hope to use my Cuttlebug for a few more years. I’m 71 and love making and sending unique cards to friends and family,

Gma Pat I know exactly what you mean....I really think you can use a different magnet piece.. let me try it and I will let you know.....Thank you so much for your comment... I still really love my little Cuttlebug... It works so nicely and you can use so many different dies from other companies... Also, I read where some people have used old cutting mats and cut them up to use in place of the A and B....Let's stay in touch and use our fabulous Cuttlebugs!!! Blessings ^_^

You can find the replacements plates on Amazon with another brand name CraftFIRST. They are the best replacement plates I've used so far.

I’m in UK, needed XL magnetic mat for my cuttlebug. Can’t seems to find them anywhere, I see they do have green sticky version, but not magnetic! I may have to cutting a spongy mat to size 6”x12”

Thank you. I bought the magnetic pad but it didn't come with any layering instructions. I left mine in my class room but I think it's thicker than the one you're showing.

Hi Linda.... I got my magnetic plate at JoAnns. I did order some an extra B plate and the longer plates from Cricut the other day and I got high discounts....
