I'm back at K-2032.......er........US-2032 (that's going to take some getting used to) for another Parks On The Air CW activation. I'm using the FX-4CR with a fresh firmware update, paired with the BaMaTech TP-III and Wolf River Coils 213" whip. The whip is on my Gabil tripod, and I'm attempting to use Faraday cloth in the field for the first time. I've had VERY bad success with the Faraday cloth to this point, so this is the first activation I used with it. All in all, it worked rather well. The only real issue I had was the wind, which decided mid activation that my antenna needed to be on the ground and not in the air. Aside from that, it was a quick and successful activation.
