CW01 Speed Run Challenge WINNERS! 

I had a ton of fun doing it and a huge congratulations goes to Brice with that feat of engineering and driving skill to get those speeds!! I am super stoked to be in second place with my duct tape engineering and as far as I know the only one to incorporate wood into their build!!! LOL!!! I am looking forward to trying this again on whatever platform you choose. It was great fun and thanks for dragging me into it!! Big round of applaise for all that joined in on the fun and a moment of silence for the parts that got thrashed in the process...

I've enjoyed watching all this very much. I think I have seen every video out there about this challenge. I wasn't able to join in as my first lunchbox arrived too late. I feel that my build would have been very similar to Mads. He and I think alike. So, I was of course rooting for him. Even though the contest is over I might build a rig similar to his just because I want to, even if you choose a different chassis next year, I think the CW-01 will be a blast to tinker with even if it's not going to get me a chance at a shirt. Thank you everyone for the smiles and creative inspiration.

Oh, man, this was great, I watched it two times and I'll watch it again tonight with my wife! I really do feel like a winner, just being part of this! Thanks so much for arranging this challenge, it was lots of fun and I loved following the others' efforts, too! I think there is a few that I didn't know about, I need to go check their videos at some point also. Cool to see you put my clip in there with the smoke, ha ha! Be prepared for a big season next season, ha ha!

Sorry for being late but I just wanna say how glad and happy I am to be apart of this fun little challenge and to be in 9th place overall. Definitely have areas that need improvement on my truck but overall it was just pure fun. Using nothing but junk and spare parts to make this truck go fast is the most fun for me (that and it was cheap)

Hi Fil. Many thanks for inviting me on this challenge. It's been a blast even though I did forget till it was nearly to late hehe. Congrats to all those who got involved and I could say I'm jealous of Brice but that would be a great big lie as I would probably have a heart attack driving mine at that speed 😂 and "No squirrels were harmed in the making of my videos" See you next year but please remember that some of us old folks memories aren't what the used to be so give us a bit more time hehehe.

Excellent contest and well done all. I hope to enter next year but with minimal changes to the stock Lunchbox. I wonder how quick people could get it if you had to keep the original wheelbase?

Hey Fil thanks for hosting a wonderful challenge I really had a blast and it inspired me to do some creative things with my build. There are a lot of cool people in this niche and it's been a blast sharing ideas and videos with the community. I have become obsessed with this platform and trying to get it to go faster and faster. over the past couple of weeks, I have reverted back to the stock gearbox in an effort to make an eligible run for the TamiyaClub record. I had a 58mph run but crashed so it didn't count. I think, with the right parking lot, I will be able to hit 60mph. I have been designing some new parts and working on some ideas to make the steering more precise. I have also been cleaning up some of the parts that I designed and will make the 3D files available for printing. I have been trying to think of a new challenge for the community, along the same lines of the speed run challenge, simple, approachable, and open to the community. If anyone has any ideas post below. Thanks again for all the community support.

Most entertaining series fella, really enjoyed watching this! Got to give a shout to Mark Bryan and Rob- fellow UK contestants..... They may have only been 7th place in terms of speed, but they certainly won in terms of comedy factor.... their efforts had me in complete stitches!! 🤣 😂 🤣 'Lunchararri' and a stick that actually turned out to be a squirrel.... That was good fun to watch the builds. I was out with the CW-01's with my Grandson. He's made it up to a stock motor now, he is only five. 50+ MPH might be a challenge for him though

Maybe next time I'm in🤔 (my wife really asked me, why I need another Lunch Box. I didn't get to do my speed run in the end as life and weather got in the way 😒 but I'll definitely be back next time

The ORV chassis might be interesting, but I am pretty sure they can be made to easily go fast.

Hey poor boys. Is it possible to make a 4 wheel drive cow-01. The pictures on the box look like a four wheel drive Guess that’s my next build. 😂😊.
