So, remember that "bigger tape" I mentioned in the last upload? This is it. For anyone out of the loop, the CW4Kids block has had an entire era that was, for the most part, undocumented. This era was the Summer 2008 era, lasting from May 24 - September 6, 2008, said era mainly copying/reusing styling from Kids WB's last rebrand, the comic book rebrand. The most people knew about this era was only from a couple of select promos here and there, such as a Johnny Test promo, a new Spectacular Spider-Man promo, the infamous Super Summer line-up promo, as well as a few others. Aside from these promos (and hints of Kids WB stylization, such as the split-screen credits set-up), almost nobody really knew what this era looked like.. until now.
Thanks to a very lucky find, we now have continuity, bumpers, and an extraordinary amount of split-screen credits and promos for the Summer 2008 era! Specifically, from most of the latter half of July 5th, 12th, and 19th of 2008. This basically confirms the blatant reuse of Kids WB's comic book bumpers, as well as entirely new comic book bumpers that were created for TMNT Fast Forward, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, and likely Chaotic (although no footage of any Chaotic bumpers exist at the moment), as well as up next bumpers that use these characters. Various other bumpers, or at least their CW4Kids counterparts, have also been found/found in higher quality, such as the Starfire comic book bumper, The Spectacular Spider Man comic book bumpers, and various others I'd imagine.
This is a very exciting find for me, basically the biggest one I've gotten so far, and I'm very happy to share it with all of you. I'll, of course, be uploading more tapes as I get them, although probably at a slower rate due to money restrictions and real life plans. I'll probably also be uploading either a channel update or trailer soon, so be on the lookout for that. Finally, I'll be uploading proper commercials from this tape soon, both out of necessity and in case I might've missed anything in this video. Aside from all that, I hope you enjoy the compilation.
