I really like the color of the motor. I was drooling over it on the live feed of the meet and greet since I couldn't actually fly down for the day(although I did ask my wife) I didn't have the extra vacation time. :) I think this build does a perfect job of showing that anyone can take to making a bike their own. It doesn't all have to be High dollar mods and powder coat. Its more about the prep and taking your time then how much money someone can throw at a build. Can't wait for the next one. P.S. The CB750 was wicked looking.
Absolutely, this channel is (hopefully) inspiring beginners to take the plunge to start building, and understandably stripping an engine to the bare carcass might not be everyone's option.
It's a brilliant paint for those not wanting to strip the engine or for beginners, I know a lot of people talk trash about can paints, but truth is these VHT paints are better than the standard stuff.
It’s basically a electronic carb that’s all glass and clear materials for you to see what’s going on and I hear they work awesome someone said better than some fuel injection systems!!!!!!
I think he’s a great guy and as he says in previous video he supports anything with 2 wheel. They may not be his preference and that’s the beauty about people, we all like different things, but he’s supportive of any bike rider. Regardless of the style.
To powder coat properly would have been a long job to break sown the engine to its bare parts. Usually I’d agree with powder coating but we only had 10 days. However when you bake this VHT paint it cures really hard and durable.
Try VHT paint baked, in a 10 day build we did't have time to powder coat but using VHT paints makes it durable. Plus we have drain pipes from the carbs so will just leak under the bike if there's any overflow issues with the carbs
It is sad to see that the engine gets can sprayed. It gives that feeling of fast cheep restoration that one does just to dump the bike that is not intended to last. This is nor good for the winner of the bike, neither for the dimecitycycles image. Back in your garage you did things more thoroughly and with love.
ashless we’re showing beginners what can be achieved with limited resource to encourage others to gain the confidence to start building. Also given that we have only 10 days build the bike the option of powder coating is not there. Also VHT is baked and is strong and resistant. What you’ll find is a lot of muscle car engines are painted with VHT.
