CYBERFROG 2: REKT PLANET Secret Commentary! 

I really loved the videos where Ethan used to go though his own previous work. I especially enjoyed this one getting to see what was going on in his head as he was creating the story and the art for a book he's so passionate about .... I think I may like these more than Trashcast 🐔

Ethan's writing goes to another level in this book. Example: When there's dialogue from the Vyzpzz. That part really pulled me in.

Missed the stream. O love these commentary streams providing a lot of insight into the story and the characters. Even with the great art and dialogue, I often don't pick up on some of the clues. For example, I understood when Heather said it's been difficult, but I did not associate her lack of desire to wearing red as an indicator of depression and lack of concern for her mortality. These type of streams are extremely enjoyable.

Blown away by Blood Honey and Rekt Planet. The art struck me a number of times. And Cyberfrog is a terrific character. Thanks for the commentary on your art!

The Prydani tech transformations make for incredible art.

The spoiler at 2:10 is one of the greatest moments in comics history. Ethan completly under sells it.

This is comicsgate or iron age to me. A top level artist bringing there a game to every panel. I'll pay good money for that.

If I'd have my say, I wish each and every creator and RU-vidr with a Comicsgate audience would use the movement brand Comicsgate in their video titles. Embrace the movement, take pride in it, let the whole world see it's exalted name! Your viewers and backers deserve it! Let's unite behind it! "CG" (abbreviated) is better than nothing, but: *_Comicsgate is glorious!_*

Who voice acts heather Swain in the trailer? Love the voice

We already know that Shane Davis is Heather Swain. You don't need to deflect Ethan.

Great episode E. I'd love more of these. Was fascinating to get a directors cut of a comic. You don't see that often in a meaningful way in this industry tbh, even in indie spaces.

Cool video. Hearing about the though that went into these books puts a lot in perspective. To write well you need to have the intelligence to keep the actual people and situations in full view, even when drawing just vignettes of their lives. Artists who don't do that end up with 2d caricatures of people. We had a few examples of that lately.

I really disappointed that Heather didn't say "Solari, save us" instead of God....missed opportunity....lol

This was even better than when EVS read Bloodhoney to us. He is a special kind of genius.

I liked issue 1, Loved issue 2 and ordered issue 3. I have to admit that Cyberfrog didn’t appeal to me, but your story and art sold me. So glad to look forward to well done comics.

Yo Homeskillet! What about a CF in lawn chair shirt? I think it would look great on a green shirt (maybe w yellow rings on the neck and sleeves?) Also it would be cool if that or any CF imaged shirt had that sweet ass sparkle ink that iron-on tees had in the 70s and 80s. Unrelated, have you seen the 2024 Phillies All-star hats? Friggin noice!

I read it this weekend after I finally made some time to do it and I became aware I need to watch less of your livestreams since the whole plot was already "ruined" from piecing together all the information given in shows. My only gripe besides that: some of the text was really small (especially on the page where Cyberfrog is walking through the city while being watched)... Don't know if that's below 6pt or if my eyesight isn't what it used to be. Looking forward to one day getting the continuations.

EVS -Where am I wrong here, Heather lived through the destruction of her world by giant murderous worlds-conquering alien wasps, and the loss of everyone except her PRECIOUS daughter, Lilly to show for it. Yet has virtually NO problem standing by as her pre-teen daughter goes out "mall shopping" looking for her dad, ALONE, because...why? and just how far can she get on these quests of hers anyway? "Just be back by diner time hun" Sure, the risk is WELL worth the mile and 1/2 she can cover each day? Logic (comic book/cartoon logic that is!) dictates the father would only be no more than an hour's walk from camp, I'm certain
