Yooo chooms! I really hope you enjoy this absolute BEAST of a build 😎 Also I greatly appreciate all the likes and comments as it helps the video a lot ❤ Thank you all!!!
I have a very similar build the biggest difference is that in the end game i use Axolotl Quantum Tuner and COX-2 in the frontal cortex reason you can use Overclock all the time. f ram or ram recover in 2.0 is all about HP
Wrote this on a sticky and hope it helps others. STATS 20 INT 20 TECH 20 BODY Prioritized TIPS During leveling go for Icepick and Proximate Propagation then remove lvl30+ Disable camera manually and search for shafts/doors for tech/solo xp Tetratoronic Rippler Mk.3 Cyberware for big power creep Overclock is a powercreep skill RAM Jolt consumables are helpful Get all perk shards available Rotation Sonic Shock + Overheat + Cyberware Malfunction + Overtheat Cox-2 Cybersomatic Optimizer: Overclock + Synapse Burnout ∞ Contagion is good with thermal damage Overclock for elites Weapon Prototype: Shingen Mark V (Arasaka Industrial Park) TIP: Don't get spotted by the cameras if you go before the Takemura mission it might be buggy Cyberware Frontal Cortex: Cox-2 Cybersomatic Optimizer (or Ram Upgrade), Ex-Disk, Memory Boost Arms: Thermal Monowire (Cripple Movement Mod) Skeleton: Epimorphics Skeleton, Universal Booster, Ram Recoup Nervous System: Neofiber, Subdermal Armor (teresine injector?) One essential broken combo: Borrowed Time in the Technical Ability tree basically allows you to go infinite Overclock as long as you have enemies to take out, if you combine it with a Blood Pump, Biomonitor and legendary Synapse Burnout . Activate overclock -> burn through all your ram and most health, until you are sub 25% hp with synapse burnout ( load control quickhacks before and after if you need extra dmg , but you honestly don´t need it) , leave hacking for a sec so biomonitor can activate, you have 3 charges of blood pump to go through that heals you automatically with biomonitor , but here comes the kicker, once you are out of charges borrowed time gives you a new one if you are bellow 25% hp and kill someone ( which is no problem bc you are oneshotting people left and right with synapse burnout ) , biomonitor then goes ahead and uses the charge, and you can repeat the process. So you basically have infinity synapse burnouts , each restoring time to overclock on takeout.
Incredible build. I was a netrunner main before 2.0 and currently running a Sandevistan Samurai V but will start a new netrunner playthrough afterwards.
Thank you so much for including a levelling guide here - as a returning player for PL there's a lot of new stuff to chew on so having that extra guidance whilst I reorient myself is incredibly helpful. Great vid!
This is the best cyberpunk build video Ive ever seen. You actually explain things and also give alternatieve and leveling tips! You just earned a like and a new subscriber. 👍
At 1st I thought netrunner got nerfed but I started seeing the positives. No more breaching, no cooldowns for hacks, overclock and the ability to mass sepuku groups at once instead of waiting.
@@megasparky2657 Yeah honestly breaching was a cool mechanic, I liked the bonus you got liked quickhack cooldown reduction and upload speed/damage for uploading 3 or more breach protocols. I like the new net running experience still but the old one was so much fun as well, especially for stealth.
@@megasparky2657honestly that my only problem. There should be either Cool or Intelligence perks that boost stealth hacking in some way. Like reduced cost ro refunding ram when undetected takedown, etc.
@ToliG123 You're assuming I just ran to the comments and posted without having tested it before hand. I too don't just believe things people say without testing it myself. I wanted to know if it was real or just a visual glitch. It's definitely not a visual glitch. I tested it before posting and I just tested it again after reading your comments. With Cox-2 I can easily hit an average of 100k+ crits, without it the damage is around an average of 10k+ crits. 1000% dmg.
always love your builds and gameplay videos! another great stealth combo with tetratronic is sonic shock - short circuit - reboot optics - synapse burnout your recover so much ram after a kill that you can pretty much spam it at some point and it does massive amounts of damage!
indeed its a great combo. i am going to try what he has in the video but i got rid of ex-disk (i know) and im running Axolotl, with COX and memory boost. Experimenting with this, and if Axolotl can reset the CD of optical camo and everything else that would be kinda insane but I havent tested it yet.
FYI, the COX-2 is currently bugged and gives you 1000% quickhack damage instead of 10% (you can see it in the "STATS" menu). So you might need to make some adjustments to the build if they ever fix that.
@@ricorosson5752 I'm pretty sure its actually 10x'ing his damage. In this video, you can see Burnout crit'ing for 10k-25k at 16:25. In the footage w/o COX-2, burnout is hitting for 1k-2k at17:18 and 17:34. Even though there's 10 levels between the 2 pieces of footage, I don't how else you're 10x'ing damage. If you're testing in-game, make sure you're using Synapse Burnout. There's another bug where quickhack multipliers aren't applying correctly to most other quickhacks (like Short Circuit).
@@AlekVen Isn't the huge damage spike on Synapse Burnout seen in the video due to the damage boost that it gets from being uploaded when you have no RAM. as is indicated on the quickhack description?
yoooo! sick video!! just started playing CP2077- immediately went w/ a katana build, but was highly curious and confused about netrunner build. NOW i understand!! thanks!! 👏👏👏
Thanks! Love your builds. Some of its self explanatory but your diving into deeper meanings and leveling process really helps the player base. Much appreciated.
Started playing the game and stumbled upon this video. At first I didn't understand a thing and was getting my ass handed to me on very hard, but now I got a hold of the game's mechanics and my character is kinda OP right now
Once you get blue Sonic Shock, the build really starts up. I haven't played Netrunner before 2.0, so this had been super helpful and it's been really fun just watching enemies fall down in front of others without them caring.
This is Nova! I'm nearly lvl 40 after restarting a new playthrough from scratch 3 years later and I was a bit lost on how to play Netrunner but I'll give this a try as soon as I get all the elements mentionned :) Also I would like to point out it's possible to find iconic quickhacks that cost less RAM than the usual Tier 5 Quickhacks so maybe it's better to use them than to use green or blue quickhacks
I've been waiting so long for this videoooooo fckkkk!!!! The skill tree rework fcked my netrunner build I did bc of you. Was super bummed out, but this made my day. Props.
The quick hacks combos is completely op. First time i got all arasaka werehouse 100% stealth and killing everyone. The best part, i didn't even need to enter the place to clean.
my god, cleaning up a gig from across the street was the bees knees. OP as shit and maybe boring after N-th time, but, damn. Cyberpunk warlock - they got it right.
I've been playing A Netrunner/John Wick fusion build. Intelligence is at 16 (for the sweet extra RAM), and my Cool is maxed out. And Technical is also maxed out, but that's because it's basically a requirement for 1/3 of your character customization now.
Wow, thanks for sharing all of this! I've found smart weapons to be TONS of fun in 2.0, especially those found in Dogtown like Crimestopper and the Hercules assault rifle. Reed's pistol is also insane for stealth play.
Using the Militech Canto deck everyone hates. The description specifically tells you it wants you to Overclock when using the Blackwall hack. It spreads like wildfire and the upload speed continues to increase while your health continually decreases with each spread. If you heal through it, you can wipe an entire room in seconds without ever breaking stealth. If you don't want to do that (maybe you have to clear a second room immediately following), then you can spam use Sonic Shock > Reboot Optics > Synapse burnout almost infinitely. Or you can just swap to a Yinglong or another smart weapon. They've basically taken away some of the stealthier elements and moved more offensive capabilities into the INT tree so that every Netrunner build isn't a glass cannon.
The COX-2 has a bug with the Tier 4 and above with Synapse Burnout, making it dealing x10 the damage. At high level, I don't even need to use Cyberware Malfuction, just one Synapse Burn is enough for most enemies. The Tier 5 Synapse Burnout gives +5s to the duration of Overclock, build Body and Tech to 20 and take all the HP items, HP regen and Adrenaline perks, making me a scuffed Dead Pool. With every kills, my Overclock grows longer, my damage grows higher while still healing me as I continue to 1-shot everybody. The Hacking interface is basically a Sandevistan minus the movement of the body, my head however can spin 360 within a fraction of a millisecond. As far as anybody knowing the wiser, I just look at people and their brains turn to well-cooked soups. Bosses, none can survive Cyberware Malfuction x2 + Synapse Burnout, which crits to dozen of thousands of damage. Might be boring to some but I like to roleplay as the legend that V actually is, an SSS+ tier netrunner
Just wanted to point out I think you're affected by a bug I noticed that makes it so your arms aren't counting towards your cyberware limit. If you add up all your cyberware, it's 288, but you only have 280 registered, since the arms are 8 :) Great video as always!
The Raven Microcyber is what the Tetratronic Rippler was back in 1.6 :( Still Rocking my Militech Paraline from the beggining though :) they buffed it pretty nicely
My last playthrough I tried a version of one of my favorite 1.0 builds that utilizes smart weapons on-hit applying quickhacks. It's not as good in 2.0, but with some adaptations it's pretty strong still. Using a Smart Shotgun that has more projectiles makes it so you can actually apply the quickhacks again fairly reliably, and then prioritize quickhack damage and quickhack spread with your points and cyberware. It's a pretty fun build, and fairly balanced in terms of playstyle. Netrunner with a Smart Shotgun that applies it's own quickhacks that spread. There's a lot of cross-buffing to Smart Weapons that come from the Overclock path as well.
Also of note the gig Serial Suicide in Corpo Plaza not only still supports save scumming but can give you up to 2 legendary quickhacks and materials per successful hack. I've went in with 2 characters and no qh and was generously given no less than 7 legendary qh for my efforts. Good vid lots of good info for never leaving a choom behind, Lol.
Haven’t watched through this video yet, but I just love contaminating overheating groups of people, or starting fights by spreading that and blowing up a most of the goons
Happy for the change in Netrunning. Most players complains why their auto win botton mechanic is gone lol. Though I'm a bit sad they removed breaching. That's what every Netrunners in history uses. Even NPCs uses demons and daemons, wouldn't make sense if v couldn't.
I love this build. But I wish that build guides like yours did more than show the end game build and included a build progression guide, too. That is, show which perks to take in what order as you get perk points in the game as you level up. I'd like to see what you did level by level.
Netrunner build and play style is fun and all and was my favorite to play before ping got nerf and lost ability to hack through walls and then started to fall in love with sandevistan but i gotta say now in 2.0 i love berserk build so much fun
Putting 1 point into the tech tree perk that gives a 100% chance to restore health items when below 25% hp makes this build even more OP, can also add axolotl and your back to the old net runner but you can run from room to room hacking everyone
So close to perfect compared to other Netrunner builds. A few pointers: You're missing "Borrowed Time" perk in the Tech tree, it lets you refill your health item over and over, covering your health costs. It's just good especially lower level and allows permanent Overclock with T5 Synapse Burnout. It probably wont trigger often, when the build comes together fully. However you could run out of ressources, be under 25% health and kill an enemy with Smartguns/Monowire and get a health charge back. For one perk point this is useful enough imho. One reason you're doing this insane dmg is because the COX-2 Cybersomatic Optimizer is bugged. It gives a massive dmg boost to your quickhacks. Like 1000% instead of 10%. You're missing Spring Joints, for mitigation together with Neofiber (which you use) and Countershell (which you don't use) - that's just makes the build worse. As I said you where so close when choosing to invest in Body for Adrenaline, but you're missing out on free mitigation. Another thing is Heat Shield perk in Tech giving up to 50% mitigation chance, if you use grenades or Contagion + Thermal explosions - Contagion followed by Overheat / Thermal dmg from Thermal Monowires/Shingen Mark V/ Erata/etc. Combining that mitigation chance with the 79% mitigation strength from Neofiber+Countershell(which activates as soon as you spend enough health on hacks in Overclock)+Spring Joints makes you WAY more tankier. Optional though, since you can get mitigation chance from the early perks in Cool as well. Cripple Movement on Monowire is correct. It's the best choice. You want to be able to upload Cyberware Malfunction manually to add multiple stacks sometimes. Monowire strong attacks take to long. Cripple Movement is higher impact on a single application and spreading it is hilarious for MaxTec or tight groups. RAM Recoup is bugged by the way, you only get +1 RAM instead of +2 and the stat bonus goes away when you equip it. I sure hope they fix this bug :( For Integumentary System: Subderminal + Chitin (massive health regen helping with survival, can be bought in Dogtown) + free pick (can be Optical Camo) Legs can be whatever mostly. I prefer Fortified Ankles (higher armor) and charge jumps work well for me. Circulatory Systems are fine. Same for Smart Link and Oracle Kiroshi. Cyberdeck: Tetratronic and using T4 Sonic Shock -> T5 Short Circuit (iconic if you have it) -> T2 Reboot Optics (less RAM cost) -> T5 Synapse Burnout (iconic if you have it) will kill most targets even early on (as soon as you have T4 Tetratronic, you're good to go) and give you almost all the RAM back if you have most of the Quickhack perks. It's also undetectable. Amazing Combo. So it's either this or using the Raven. This is a good option for elites as well. I would advice using the Tetratronic, because your "just use Synapse" strategy ONLY works because of the bugged damage increase from COX-2 Cybersomatic Optimizer. Ah you mention using Contagion + Shingen Mark V for explosions, but missed out on Heat Shield perk. Free massive mitigation chance basically. You mention using Tetratronic for leveling, but then don't take advantage of the dmg gain. Just do Sonic Shock, Short Circuit, Reboot Optics, Synapse. Seriously. I'll give you 8.5/10 compared to the other builds I've seen. You also didn't include a link to the build planner. So you missed a few details, but overall the guide is well put together.
I have questions: 1. In your Tetra combo, why opening with Sonic Shock instead of Cyper Malf Tier 3? It's only to trigger bonus damage for combat hack, but Cyber is cheaper so more RAM saved. And again, why T2 Reboot Optics after than instead of another Cyber Malf, so when on 2 stacks of Cyber Malf you disable enemy cyberware completely. Seems like it would be better for Elites/bosses? 2. What you use for AoE of enemies? You juest rely on Overclock spread perk and do your Tetra combo basically? 3. For leveling (lets say from 10-35) what Synapse level you recommend?
@@honestbenny Sonic Shock is for remaining in stealth. Cyber Malf is amazing for the debuff and against cyberware using enemies. T2 Reboot Optics because it's super cheap and only used to boost Short Circuit damage by 40% (Tetratronic gives 40% dmg on Combat hacks when they are followed by a non-Combat hack in the queue). Doing the combot like this will refund close to all of your RAM with the right perks and some +0.x RAM gain on enemy kill. You can do that combo multiple times without even entering Overclock. Making it super useful at early levels. The combo goes online when you get a T4 Tetratronic Cyberdeck pretty much. For elites, yes you would use Cyber Malf more often. Like twice into Synapse into
@@honestbenny 15 Body for Adrenaline is way way better. Cool really only does anything if you want to use Optic Camo (with relic perks) as well. Hoewever, when factoring survivability through mitigation cyberware and possibly Heat Shield, Body does way more for you. The first perks in cool are useful, especially early on. Sometimes you might hide behind cover in crouch. Having that extra mitigation is nice. I'd argue leaving Cool at 4 is better, since you can get 20 Int, 20 Tech, 15+Body and 20 Reflexes. Reflexes unlocks a whole other build variant, smart SMGs, swapping between 2 Yinglong SmartSMGs if you want to invest in SmartWeapons as well. You can also invest in Tech weapons instead, and Shotguns and use Order from the DLC, it's busted.
That's a pretty tanky netrunner. Glad to see that 2.0 makes everything viable and op. You have basically the same hp and armor as my Terminator sandy build.
I'm a bit hesitant to put points into body instead of cool or reflex for that increased crit damage and mobility respectively. I'm going to see if I even need that much extra health and adrenaline for overclock or if that's just something that is extra. That or, maybe I'll just cheat my attributes on this playthrough and have fun lol
Nice build in my endgame build I run Arasaka because I don't like playing as a psychopath I go the takedown route instead running with: (2)Reboot optics[T1 or T2] -> (5)Memory wipe[T3] -> (4/2)Sonic Shock[T5/Iconic] = 11 or 9 ram per takedown of normal foes. then run system collapse that gets cheaper with each takedown so I can take down skull foes cheap. It can be a little buggy when doing this against unaware foes as sometimes the effect from sonic shock is a bit buggy also DO NOT use spillover perk for this build the sequence is important, you can go 100% stealthy if you use the T4 version of Memorywipe and que it before reboot optics but it is more expensive.
For stealth and the sonic shock + damage combo, fill out the queue with +(relatively) cheap system malfunction to boost the damage. That'll probably take out people on very hard. I like to use short circuit for normal enemies and synapse for elites.
Thank you very much for this guide! That was excellent and has helped me play the OP netrunner. I prefer the purple contagion + green overheat play. My RAM runs out too quickly if I spam Synapse burnout. After having done one playthrough, netrunner is a bit 'boring" imho. It's like an allpowerful wizzard that nobody can touch. Killing ppl from a distance. Not very exciting anymore once you have learned it. I prefer the 'silent ninja' playstyle.
Loving this. Thanks for the video. Honestly, I could already see the sweaty faced button mash meme already after you delayed the release XD Hope you're feeling well now.
Sonic Shock is better at Tier 4 instead of Tier 3. It cost a single more RAM (5 vs 4) but with Tier 4 if you kill someone right in front of others enemies they won't even notice that your target is down. No real benefit of going to Tier 5 with Sonic Shock however. Cyberware Malfunction you can go crazy with Tier 5 because it has the very same cost between Tier 3, 4 and 5. Also for your final combo you give it's important that Cyberware Malfunction is uploaded BEFORE Short Circuit because it will boost the damage of Short Circuit by 10% per stack of Cyberware Malfunction (1 stack in this combo).
same. what's crazy with cool at 20 is if you set your netrunner up for smart weapons the genjiroh is so op it's ridiculous at any distance + i love the overheat/contagion combo lol
¡Gracias!
I’m gonna do this but ima use the militech canto cyber deck along with the burnout, contaigion, and both the suicide related ones bc what ever doesn’t die to burnout it’ll die to contaigion or black wall gate and the suicidal ones are for the funny haha
Wow. I never used blood pump because I thought it would be how it was in 1.6 where it ate up your cyberware button and could only be used once before cooldown.... Gonna grab me one now.
Really enjoy the netrunning changes, but boy I miss the short circuit melee builds of 1.6. Using gorilla arms while quickhacking just doesnt have quite the same unstoppable cyborg feel to it anymore.
Great guide. The build is so op and helps a lot to those of us who came back to play Phantom Liberty after 2.0 version. Only a question about the video. Are the clothes you show in the minute 18:00 in the game or are from some mod?
Oh my God bro, my first playthrough of phantom liberty the raven microcyber was somehow broken because the quickhacks didn’t spread without overclock or SOMETHING was broken and it didn’t work as intended AT ALL to the point that it made me respec to sandy katana. And now I’m trying it again and it somehow works as intended…
I’ve been using contagion > overheat > overclock > spam synapse burnouts (staying in infinite overclock until I run out of enemies with borrowed time perk) I don’t feel the need for the somatic optimiser at all. Thoughts?
Is this guide will be good for new player??? Or better use it for 2nd time play? I like the idea of this build exactly in such game! Thank you @Falcmaan !
