Always on the go and hear it everywhere in the game, but you’re so busy doing stuff you can’t really pay attention. Listening to it here you can hear the whole thing and omg it is! For some reason I always thought it was some Samurai song since Johnny was always around. That’s so cool!
gonna do all the sidequests before i do the ballad of buck rivers so i can buy that old samurai fans merch at maxed out stats lol...also why does he just disappear? is that a bug?
I legit was hanging around the Aldecaldos campfire for a good 30 minutes it felt like as the sun went down. I miss camping, haven't done it in all of 2020.
Same here, I live in the Uk but travel by plane to Iceland every year to spend the summer with my family. We usually enjoy it camping but 2020 ruined it, but I'm not gonna let 2021 summer go to waste
2020 was an evaluation of what matters and what doesn't. Got back to my roots and got back into hiking through nature. I even hiked my first mountain this year at almost 1000m in a day. 2020 sucked, but some good came out of it and I feel luckier than some. As for the music, I could spend hours listening to it by the fire.
Especially when they moved the Camp to North and there's only one Guitar-guy . Loved the setting of the first Camp , but the second Guitar-guy would always start playing a second different song that would totally ruin Ponpon Shit :(
This is actually the original song that originated Ponpon shit, don't wanna make any spoiler here but you can learn more about the story behind it just by completing some side missions with Kerry Eurodyne! :)
@@ItsMeMono Every time I come back to listen to this video more people have commented that, but it's not pon pon shit in that quest. It's another song.
Part of me wants post-game DLC so I can go back to interacting with these characters, part of me says they shouldn't because it forces you to really cherish what little time you have with them during the playthrough :(
@@mugiwaralufyy1729 Honestly, I doubt CDPR would do that for this game. The cityscapes are way too detailed, I can't imagine the amount of effort and planning that would be necessary to basically do civil engineering. NC really impressive but I doubt they would put this much detail into, say, a Tokyo or Atlanta map and sell it for 20$, that's an insane proposition IMO. Toussaint is a whole new region, but they probably had a terrain library like how Skyrim modders can use existing assets to stitch together unique landscapes, put some new buildings here and there, etc. I doubt NC was done that way, seeing how complicated and unique every corner is. That being said, I could totally see them doing a badlands-styled Arizona or something, but then we'd be playing Mad Max and not Cyberpunk :(
@@fredxu99 I wouldn't place a bet either way but remember that the blood and wine dlc city was as big if not bigger than Novigrad. CDPR made a pile of cash all ready if they wanted to get back some of that lost goodwill a huge scope dlc might be justifiable.
I was about 50 hours in hanging out at the Aldacado camp recording some ambient footage when I first heard this. Crazy that I just somehow missed it for so long.
@@Vox_Popul1 it's something you can have in real life too you just need not to care about the future and live the moment (literally not caring about the future weather you actually die or live in poverty) and find people like you which usually happens between army men in mist Nations that's why most of us like these games for it's a safe experience of what kind of a crazy life can be like
@@alisalloum733 I’m good Besides, that’s definitely not the only way to make genuine connections with people. It’s just that it’s harder today because of how alienated we’ve become from one another.
@@Vox_Popul1 Yeah, the world itself is awful - environmentally destroyed, economically dominated by megacorps that don't care about people, and politicians that range from being bought off (Rhyne) to being controlled (Peralez). There's nothing good about the world itself, but the point of the game is that there's still good things in a broken world. Still, no matter the ending chosen, I think the point of the game is that letting go and moving on is the important thing - V always chooses to let go, be it letting go of friends and loved ones for a chance to go down in a blaze of glory, letting go of dreams and leaving Night City, or letting go of life itself to give someone else a second chance. For all of its issues on release, that's the one thing that Cyberpunk 2077 really nailed - giving people a glimpse of this world where good things and beautiful moments are transitory and things are always moving on. The narrative has always been rock solid and that has carried the game to where it is today (in a much better shape).
I was dipping out of the game and getting bored of the city. Then I started the Aldecaldos chain and the whole questline reinvigorated my drive to finish the game. Easily some of my favorite portions of the game. Especially when Panam takes you aside and asks why your doing all this for her? You get to answer with a simple *"because were friends."*
Having sat and thought a bit on this I realized something. It’s the perfect song for V’s journey. Normally it’s this high energy hyper pop song mimicking the feel of night city and how fast it can be. But deep down right here is the soul of it all. A sad melody that eventually ends. Just like V’s story will always lead to their end in some way. Be it in mind heart or soul
I legit spent most of my time in the final quests just hanging at camp, I absolutely am in love with the aldecaldos and the whole united family vibe, how they will go to hell and back for me. The only game I've ever played that made me emotional
Same this the only game that’s made me emotional I wish after the Panam ending when they drive over the lake wasn’t the end nd I got to relax with the aldecaldos nd do more missions with them
Yeah I spent an hour or two just chilling with the aldecaldos. Partially because I didn't really want the experience I was having with the game to end yet.
I want an electric guitar so bad but i live in a navy ship so i have nothing to store it. Either i get a car to store shit or get a girlfriend to store shit at her apartment 😢
How about just getting a storage unit for storing shit? Then you don't have to worry about car insurance or drama & you can just got get whatever shit you need when you're in port.
@@hazonku What this guy said. Guitars shouldn't be stored in cars and the girlfriend msy damage it if you get in a bad fight. I was in the navy and had a storage unit
I couldn't believe pon pon could be played like this. I couldn't believe my ears when I stumbled upon this in the game casually, didn't realize until an hour passed. Been searching in the game but to no avail.
On my first play through, I probably sat on the top of that roof where you box the twins and listended to that guy strumming the guitar for an hour. I imagined my V resting against the wall, drinking a beer, and thinking "this ain't half-bad." A moment of respite in a chaotic city.
If anyone wants to you can build off what lyrics I've made for this Come on now and sit with me. Just come and sit and try to listen to my story. I know sometimes the world's against you. But if you just go stand real tall no one will bring you down. Go now man and show the city what you got. But promise me that you'll come back and let go of your past. 'Cuz you seem to forget that people love you now. Because your still just stuck in your past when you got hurt That's all I got if anyone wants to add off that your free to try to all my cyberpunk brothers and sisters love you all and good night ❤❤❤
When I first saw the game, I was very skeptical. Boring story many bugs etc. But then I let myself be persuaded. Get me the game. And God is this a mega game. It reflects some of the real life. I'm playing the game for the 5th time and it keeps knocking me over again. I've never cried in a game or developed such extreme feelings. After the death of V I was very affected for a few days. It really took me with me. That's how much the game shaped me.
maybe nobody gonna understand what i'm talking about, but wen i hear this version, reminds me Leo Brower, sounds a bit of bossanova with a melancholic touch
I am now in Gdansk, Poland and this started to play in my head for some reason. And then I remembered that this was a Polish game :) I love how brain works...
Kinda shocking that dreadful ear raping song got a soothing emotional guitar cover. The First time i listened to the cover,It really made me feel relaxed which i can't say the same for the actual song itself which i highly bet its intentional in-game.
The fact that this is an acoustic cover of a J-POP song is insane to me. They are the exact same song, note for note, and yet still seem completely unrelated from one another
Started the game almost 3 weeks ago and would always hear the npc playing this. 2 weeks went by and of course I’ve heard the Us Cracks song a lot of times..but somehow I didn’t connect the dots until one day I was humming the Ponpon song in the shower and I was like “WTF? Was the guitarist npc playing this song?? The tune sounds almost the same!” 😂
Could you please make an 1 hour video from the music called "The Beast of Beauclair" which is played in Cyberpunk 2077, it would be great! Anyway thanks for this song!
Im sitting by the fireplace right now with this music. Remember all the choices and connections I made playing this game. It's overwhelming yet oddly comforting. This game changed who I am. And I'll always be thankful for it
Im always remembering the time i sat around the campfire with Panam, Johnny and the Aldecados remembering our friends that died and the good times whenever i hear this song. To jacki, Alt Cunningham and Scorpion 😢🍻
What's Ironic is that the game takes place in Northern California, and when it came out I was Stationed in that state so it made it feel a little more relatable
I clocked in over a 100 hr and Platinum the game on the base PS4 And never realize this was a acoustic version pon pon shit ! Mind blown ! Definitely the best Easter egg in the game!
And here we are again with the anime series that brought the game back to life plus we getting a new story dlc expansion couldn’t get any better than this
You gotta be shitting me, the guitar guys play PONPON SHIT? I just thought it was a deep, dreamy type of tune but no... The melody is all there, reproduced by guitar...those sneaky son a bitches.
@@The_Sharktocrab all I can say is listen to them one after the other, the pitch isn't exactly the same and this acoustic version is slower but the structure is the same.
If you listen to the song religiously, you can hear it. It's like the original but slower and with more... strums lol. Try humming the lyrics along with the guitar
I came across an NPC playing this while heading to meet the Voodoo boys. Bright blue sunny sky with the distant skyscrapers towering above. The sight and peaceful feeling is something I’ll never forget.
I loved this song when it played the night before the basilisk attack. This game is a masterpiece. Even the ends are so well made! Well.. I don't know about the other ones but I had a pretty good ending where V get rid of Johnny, accept is faith and die 6 months later. The final mission before the end makes you almost feel like you're watching a movie as it is so well made. Finally, for a game that was hated for its bugs and lies, it is one of the best game of the century in my opinion as it makes you fell so connected to it's characters and brings the player into a really immersive world. It's really a shame that some people were so disappointed they wouldn't play it again even after major updates. I freaking loved this game and will play it again when the dlcs are out (sorry if I made English mistakes, I'm french btw :)
Thank you so much!! I was pulling my hair trying to find something on this song. The hype version to me is awful. But I can just listen to this all day.. makes me so relaxed..
