Cyberpunk 2077 | Launch (2020) vs Latest Patch Update 2.1 (2023) | Graphics and Framerate Comparison 

Cyberpunk 2077 has come a long way since its disastrous launch back in December 2020. 3 years after launch, the game is finally in the Best possible it will ever be and its incredible. With CD Projekt Red confirming Patch Update 2.1 will be the last major update for Cyberpunk 2077 and now they completely moving to future titles, Let's take a look at the performance and graphics comparison of the Launch Version of the game on PC vs the current version. Just how much has the performance and graphics improved when tested on the same Graphics settings. The Graphics settings selected here is "Ray Tracing: Ultra" at native 1080P without any Frame Generation. This kept the comparison fair, as features like Path tracing and DLSS Frame Generation were added later in the game.

The only downside I think game is using way more vram

For my case was the cpu requirements they went very high but its playable.

Is there more patches upcoming or this is was everything ! But yeah I am kind glad because of their work! I just bought two days ago I am going to wait for it look forward for my delivery!!!

The biggest difference has to be the lighting and improvements in skin colour.

I hate the new trend in gaming of making every scene dark as shit.

But many people including myself complain shimmering after 2.1 update. Why?

Most of it come from nvidias branch prediction working better at driver level with imports, so most of the increase wasnt cdpr 😂😂😂😂 L engine
