@@RevelationOne NPC's started killing themselves by jumping off buildings in my game-world, so maybe suicide counts? Makes me feel like I'm living in Japan.
@@gigabrad4570 Damn thats unlucky. It amazes me how so many people encounter bugs in this game but I only had them when I played on Series X on release, and even then they weren't too bad.
looking back, if we had gotten a cgi ad back then that set up V's personal story rather than painting such a vivid picture of life in night city, people would have been more accepting of the game we got. people were saying how the game we got, at its core, wasnt what was shown here. thats the issue with this kinda hype cycle marketing BS. funnily enough, the 'V' launch trailer is way, way more accurate to what we actually got. wonder why! couldnt possibly be that they had a bit more of a vision figured out by then... really feels like they made Night City first, then the game second. oh well none of this matters because in a hot minute here we're all gonna be playing 2.0 and Phantom Liberty anyways
I feel like it would work super well as a live action, well CGI’d tv series better than as a game. I mean, at least for now. The cyberpunk aesthetic is such a hard thing to convey through videogames right now it seems, there’s supposed to be so much going on that it’s like a constant overload which unfortunately doesn’t sit well with current hardware it seems. Everything’s supposed to be eye catching, everything’s supposed to make you buy, sell, fuck or kill. It’s worked amazingly well in movies, so I can’t wait for games to catch up
Now that Phantom Liberty is just under a week away, I've decided to watch this trailer once again. It's still as badass as it was 5 years ago. Congrats on turning this game's fortunes around, CD Projekt Red; this is one of the best games I've ever had the pleasure of playing through from start to finish, and now people are slowly starting to realize its true merits.
It's a great game, always loved it even through the bugs, but they marketed it all wrong and the last-gen console versions were atrocious (which they knew since they didn't release them to reviewers). It's hard to come back from those mistakes, in fact it's pretty impressive they've built up so much goodwill in the time since.
As an old nerd, this game was rushed but CDProjekt Red Put their heads down in the same way Sean Murray did with No Mans Sky. This trailer is what they have finally created and I urge anyone who sees this today and thinks, man that looks fun. I want you to respect the hard work they've done to make it, yeah it really is fun. Yeah they made this. Yeah it's a lot of fun now.
@@theghostofsparta4528 I think it's gonna happen since TONS of people complained about it but they were so knee deep they couldn't fix it without creating more problems, it's confirmed they're using a different engine so there's no excuse this time. If they're desperate to keep first person scenes then they should just change the camera POVs like Wolfenstein and Deus Ex
In 2020 they voted Cyberpunk 2077 the worst optimized game in history. Main issues? Sky high rate of glitches and more people playing below 40fps than anywhere else. Can't deny it- it's all true... But everyone still wants to play it. CDPR always have a patch for you. Might be a lie, a ilusion but it's there, just around the corner - and it's keeps you waiting. It's a city of bugs, and I'm a big bugger...
I actually am enjoying the game. There's a tad bit more bugs than usual, and thats bearable. If you got fps issues get some new hardware. ( I meant for the PC, since i play in gtx 1050 30fps )
@@alvinraju oooh i never thinked that, probably if i have the best components the game will run better, LOL what a good idea, you are a revolutionary boy
Everytime i see someone saying this I know for sure they did not see Witcher 3 when it came out but after like 2-3 months CDPR did wonders with patches
@@darklion4904 yeah but it's 2020 and CDPR is not a small studio, they even fucking scammed us with their ps4 pro and xbox one x footage of the game just to get us to pre order their unfinished piece of garbage. better yet, on the left in the background, render distance is so low only boots and jackets are rendering. this trailer was made in a game that was complete mess and it shows lol. This crowd has no collision at all and no one noticed
@@deepprakash968 Lol How am I "ignorant", when you're the one ignoring the issues with the game across platforms?? (Yes, this includes PC.). @@silvercomet5330 you're hating on it unnecessarily. You clearly don't know anything about CDPR. It's people like you who ruin the community and the name of this company. I never denied a few bugs and glitches in this game but apart from that there's nothing game breaking glitch, except for last gen consoles. Dude I have a fucking GTX 1070ti, that's 3 gen behind the current gen, and it still works like a beaut. I'm getting 50-60 fps with high to ultra settings. Clearly you aren't playing the game and you're just here to shame CDPR for it not working on a 7 year old hardware. I'm having super fun even if it's without RTX. Cyberpunk is clearly a next generation game and you just can't accept the fact lmao. People with proper PC are enjoying it all over the world. Get over it fam.
Seemingly they have cancelled much of their post-launch support. At the last investor callings, it was confirmed multiplayer has been completely scrapped. It has also been heavily implied that there will no longer be multiple expansions, breaking yet again another promise. Seems to be their plans are to release the expansion, and then move on.
@@markjackson1989Honestly I really hope we get a sequel in Unreal 5 with a proper living world. Also for the love of god a longer story lmao I finished the game in a day
They removed so much bugs in cyberpunk actually. I played the day 1 version which has a lot of bugs and with the latest patch there is barely any problem

eh, its still unfinished janky trash. The devs that built this game left the studio a year before it released. The game now is handled by talentless amateurs that have no clue what they are doing, or how to work on this engine. The DLC was supposed to be part of the core game.
@@evoliciousyet the game is still great, steam reviews will tell you that and it’s literal proof. The game is worth what you pay for. It’s got replay-ability with multiple story lines, some of the best graphics out there for an engine that isn’t Unreal 5, almost every setting on pc you can think of, and it’s got dozens of hours of content through even one playthrough. @@shady6131 well i kinda do hope it is like gta online from the content-aspect so it becomes popular or even as popular. But we will have to see about that. I'm just wondering if you will have free roaming and if you can buy apartments. Also i'm not satisfied with the currency name AT ALL. "Eddies" fucking serious? that sounds so stupid already.
I'm starting to think Rockstar spoiled us. While it's true that they should stop milking GTA Online, you can't deny they're the best at creating cities that feel alive. Night City looks absolutely stunning, but it feels dead, it's a city full of robots instead of stupid humans. "The most believable city in any open world game ever", and now they're calling expecting what was advertised "unrealistic expectations"
@@SnrubSource I haven't played Cyberpunk 2077 yet, but that's true. Rockstar are the best at creating big open worlds that feel alive. Unfortunately, they do love milking their (2) main titles, because they are a for-profit company after all, and I don't like the direction of GTA Online at all, but when it comes to promising something, they usually deliver and their games live up to the hype. GTA V Story mode was an amazing experience. Online could be just as amazing, but their greed ruined it - with all their futuristic military vehicles now the game is more like Saints Row V instead of GTA V, but I can't blame them just because I don't like it, it's their decision ultimately.
Right? I assume the majority of development left to do is just create the massive amount of content they need to fill the game world. Apparently all of the NPCs are going to have their own loops and backstories different quests you can explore just by following people around. I sincerely hope they have that level of depth to it, that would be amazing.
Hold on, just because they cut together a gameplay video of one mission and i trailer doesn't mean the game functions properly yet. I just played The Witcher 3 for the second time, and i was actually a bit concerned with the amount of bugs and glitches that are still in it. So i hope the remaining 2 years are also dedicated to having the game run as smoothly as for example Horizon Zero Dawn
@@am33x I thought the same, until i played it more than a year after i finished it the first time. I noticed the game still had some of the original bugs and glitches , and some i hadn't seen before. i think the best part about rewatching this trailer for me is seeing all the little details they have given to characters and quests like just as a example the guy that gets his eye ripped out might be the one from the GIG where you have to sneak into the tigers claws restaurant and steal back his eye, mr blue eyes also appears twice, once in space so that could hint towards the crystal palace, the corpo meeting where guys mind gets fried is in the corpo intro, loved this trailer enough now i love it more with context.
Just started a new run a few days ago, couldn't finish my run from when it was launched, was way too buggy. It's amazing how much they have managed to iron out, it's actually enjoyable to play now.

This game is a masterpiece now, it would have been one of the best game releases ever if they just waited, and kept improving it constantly. But I still love CDPR, one of the best things, especially in the entertainment industry to come out of Poland.
