*There might be a few audio goofs in this video. My new editor (my friend Cookie) uses a different editing software than I do so we might have a few issues here and there the next few videos until we get used to working with each other, and we can get his PC upgraded*
By the way swany you messed up. The "Mancinella" is a revolver with a built in supressor. Thats why you werent being detected when using it. It makes sense since it was used by an assassin.
This game really needs a new game plus. I don’t want to restart my game every time I miss a weapon. I would have to beat phantom liberty again to get the number 1 gun on this list
I heard that the dogtown weapons vendor you meet in the first area of the DLC (with the flaming elbows) sells iconics you missed but I never looked into it myself. Other than that on PC I remember there being a mod a year ago that let you spawn in weapons using the console.
The Raiju is so good at vehicle combat because of its special ability you forgot to mention, it's bullets will penetrate objects without charge, meaning that, in cars, the enemies might as well be floating with nothing covering them. Also, due to this, you tend to damage both car and person at the same time. It SHREDS vehicles.
In "shot by both sides" you can get both weapons. If you kill the militech guy you can loot his weapon. When the mission is finished as you leave the woman will set her pistol on a table and work on a terminal to gather the remaining data, allowing you to get both.
@@Leonson1she rats out on Militech and then you are caught in the crossfire, putting a bounty on your head. For me, it was a full-blown police chase. I went up to 4 stars until I managed to loose them
I like Her Majesty you get from the main story in Phantom Liberty. It has its own built in suppressor, and if your running optical camo it's always a critical headshot with perfect accuracy when using the camo
Been playing with "Her Majesty" with a sandevistan. What I don't like is that it doesn't shoot sometimes while on the effects of sandevistan. But my build is around pistols, ARs and swords
Hawk has served me well against groups when combined with the Apogee Sandevistan. Enemies basically stand still after a headshot and 3 headshots take out basic mobs on very hard. Rogue’s pistol has come out on top as my favorite weapon post 2.0, though. It one shots skull enemies on Very Hard with deadeye and focus active. It’s insane.
@@babyfaec funny you say that because I started using it a lot more during combat. The Hawk is great to kick things off from stealth, but the mods push the XMOD over once things get going.
@user-mw4ji1vn2z I used the iconic mod Firecracker and a tier 5 ready steady mod. I got the increased benefits from being in cover even while out of cover, so super accurate with a long range scope. Aim just never moves. Great for mid-range as well. Then shotgun for close up.😎
There is one weapon I would have added to this list and its the Taigan revolver. It is so powerful and shoots explosive rounds. I got it from an air drop once and have never stopped using it. I highly recommend trying to find this.
One cool bonus of Erebus is that it will level up Netrunning skill if it kills with the quickhack so if you run a non netrunning build, it's a good way to level up for passives.
If you missed the osprey you can loot it at any time even after finishing the main story from the dlc, even tho the main door of the bar was closed for me (might be a bug) there is another door from the right of the building that let you go in the secret Alex basement and the sniper will always be there if you didn’t loot it
If you want a truly amazing duo of weapons, pair he Headhunter throwing knife with the Ol' Reliable. Even on the newly rebalanced Very Hard difficulty, very few things can withstand the combo of tagging them with Headhunter's iconic perk (granting 200% headshot damage to marked enemies), and activating Ol' Reliable's weapon swap bonuses when you switch to it.
These new weapons are so fun! Erebus reminds me of the Outbreak gun from Destiny, with all the crazy red fx. I wish the effect would spread unless it does? I don’t really notice. I also love the Hercules. Also reminds me of some Destiny guns that causes explosions when an enemy is killed. Would be fun if someone modded the poison to be purple like Destiny’s Graviton Lance. The axe throwing is very satisfying, I wish there was a 4th slot for melee weapons.
I love the Rasetsu, but I was a little bit bummed out, after I read the note that is right in front of the sniper you get it from. It states it has a link to allow uploading quickhacks via the scope and man was I disappointed when that it didn't had that feature when dismounted...
You may be underrating the NDI Osprey based on how you're using it. It's better as an aggressive hipfire weapon more than a sniper! You get 2 bullets reloaded per airdash with high Shinobi level so almost never need to reload while tearing through enemies, once you get rolling you're 1 shotting basic enemies and a 2.86 fire rate is quite good for how much damage per shot you're doing.
Let it be noted that the schematics for Erebus is not only locked behind who you choose to betray in the Firestarter mission, but it is also locked behind a skill check requirement as well. In order to repair the keypad, you need 20 technical ability, and unlike the schematics for the Canto Mk. 6, there is no way around that. Also, don’t forget to pick up the behavioral system component off of Cerberus, otherwise you can’t make the items.
i absolutely love the order shotgun its insane if you have the right perks and cyberware, it synergizes super well with the microgenerator hand cyberware, all the tech gun perks and the shotgun perks, mainly the one which allows you to obliterate enemies with all these i was able to one shot a full group of the 12 robots that spawns during the secret ending of the base game with a bolt shot when ur in arasaka tower and it was an insane rush of dopamine
Big tip if you charge it past 66% it triggers pyromaniac so if you also get heatshield and dont get burn the city you can have a easy 50% midigation chance and +25% movespeed permanently
In my opinion, Rasetsu is the #1 iconic weapon in the game especially when you build both the tech tree and the cool tree into it. It's by far the most satisfying ranged weapon I've used in the game.
I’ve used both of the weapons that you get for siding with Reed. The Erebus and the Cyberdeck and the deck hack is better than I initially thought. It’s like suicide but it spreads to surrounding enemies. I’ve killed bosses with one hack on hard. And it’s stupid effective on bots.
I'm so mad that I spent so much time invested in this DLC and didn't even get half of these weapons! What an insanely detailed masterpiece of a game. Holy shit.
In my experience, you can't just go straight to dezerter's garage and type in the code. You have to complete the attached gig, or else the keypad won't even turn on for you to type in the code.
Utterly insane to me that you missed the objective best weapon this patch, Reed's Pariah. Outdamages both Mancinella and Her Majesty on your list, while having the unique niche of being a suppressed Tech Pistol with full penetration and having one of the most desirable additional perks in any FPS, increased reload speed a.k.a Destiny's Outlaw.
Just a heads up for the ol reliable. If you get the high noon perk it speeds up reload speed by 35% and slows time by 50% so essentially as long as you’re getting head shots whenever you reload everything slows down but you stay the same speed. Pair it with the militech apogee sandevistan and you can one shot a group of enemies before they hit the ground.
I still think as far as pistols go, Rogues Pride from the base game tops them all. Unsure why but mine had 400% headshot multiplier on it but now its 150%. Still crits for 2.6-3k on a headshot though. Things a monster
The Hawk is a great option for a stealth sniper build. It can be silenced and equipped with a scope increasing its range by 40%. Giving it a range of 76 where overwatch has 80 range. The raw damage output is less but it can fire in reasonable quick succession. As enemies are weakened by headshots, combined with a cool perk to keep them quiet, offers a great chance to land a 2nd or even 3rd headshot before they can alert others. In my experience with both it’s more reliable in staying hidden and offers better mobility. Like Swany explained in the vid, also great in a 1v1 against powerful bosses/cyber psychos. Imho it’s a great main high precision stealth weapon
The crusher is so OP that they didn't even make an iconic version of it, using it for my new playthrough and I just mow down hordes of enemies w it, even more fun with sandevistan
Pizdetz, it's broken AF, a silenced smart SMG with burst fire, you one shot most targets with zero chance of missing, you can stealth through almost anything effortlessly.
Imo, Kurt Hansen's "Bald Eagle" is probably the best one because of how well it combos with a sandevistan (especially the apogee) you can just run around and basically 1 - 2 shot everyone with the headshot damage. Even without the sandevistan, it's crazy strong.
@@jamesvarela233 I think you have to choose to help Reed capture Songbird. He'll end up killing Alex but in exchange you get to keep 3 of his iconic weapons after killing him.
@jamesvarela233 Yes. If you side with songbird, get to the room where you spin the chopper rotors. To the right is a stack of crates to the second level. Climb those and go through the door to the right and Hanson's stuff will be in a box near the window. You get the Bald Eagle and Wild Dog, but the Fang knife is exclusive to helping Reed.
The Raiju is insane. Pair it with the full SMG and Tech perks along with Sadasdevan and specific Cyberware increasing things like critical damage and chance, and reducing recoil, and it absolutely melts everything for me, including Maxtac. I found myself constantly returning to it cause nothing else could touch it lol. Don't sleep on it!
Got order yesterday and it is the funniest gun. Well... technically i can't say that cause its my first main gun but i love it. Switched from mantis blades/gorilla arms build to a tech shotgun build with cyberware compresor and it is just insane. And i still have my time slow even without my belove sandy cause i use the kerensikov with booster and defensikov AND a revulsor. This gun is a menace and i love it
i agree, the erebus is good but even at tier 5++ enemies can feel a little spongy, the Hercules with the new 20 reflex perk that essentially gives assault rifles double damage with the fast fire rate of the Hercules really makes it shred through anything, not a big fan of the smart targeting tho, i usually just hip fire
@@ianxiety2339 yeah you need to fire without aiming with this one, the poison explosion is so good too and quite unique in the game I believe ? I don’t remember seeing anything else like it
@@Nexyyy7def seems unique to this weapon, i don’t think there’s any other gun with a in death effect, there’s also the black mamba cyberware that reduces poison damage by 90% but boost other damage by 18% when attacking a poisoned enemy and i think that might be worth picking up
I am so glad I got Erebus. Holy hell that gun is literally a use this and win the game type weapon. Wish they had ng+ so I could craft the cyberdeck as well.
Somewhat. Exept of burst-sniper. Iconic Liberty pistol - just rules thus in Phantom Liberty enemies are beefy - can substitute it by LMG. Sniper rifles- only if u like sniping. Basically Cyperpunk is meant to be played as "netrunner with Liberty" + LMG as backup.
Order slaps. Got the quick attack makes the next shotgun shot deal 100% more damage, so just bonk someone and then proceed to shoot them for like thousands of health 💀
I used to love the sovereign when it would shoot one barrel at a time from the hip and then two at a time when ADS. Now I never use it anymore since the change.
The new 2.0 update has a new gun & knife & sword section added to my inventory storage does anyone on here know what new guns & knives & swords can be added to the wall??
I played through the PL DLC on my main character and got the ending required for Erebus specifically because I wanted to get this equipment. I modded it + the canto cyberdeck onto a lvl 4 corpo character and am currently playing through the story with both equipped at the same time for the ultimate blackwall rogue AI experience. Wish we had this option at all in the game but oh well. Mods will have to suffice
Me, Ole' Reliable, and my Apogee sandy... crazy OP. Can zero a small army of goons and be done well before the sandy expires. Love that gun, and yeah, the sound it makes while popping heads is oddly satisying. Honorable mention handgun goes to Her Majesty - really great if you wanna keep it quiet. Or go full scorched Earth with it: pop optical camo + sandy and hipfire headshots... savage.
I don’t know what you did to spec for Order but with my build scull enemies either die in one hit or have a tiny sliver of health left and with the 6% faster reload flatjacket and a phew reload speed buffs from cyberware it’s pretty quick.
Im a throwing knife cyberninja and the agaou axe is the bomb. with head hunter and fang combined with apogee sandevestan, you enter a crowded fight, throw headhunter, followed by agaou finish with fang. as you run through each enemy you pick each one back up instantly and can throw them. with the headhunter, you get it back also immediately if the axe shot is a kill plus you get a huge headshot bonus with the next throw which is the axe, the axe explodes, high crit chance and kills/stuns/knocks down nearby enemies, then if the fang is in your hand any enemy hit by that is crippled. and all of this without manually switching any weapons, just quick successive throws since the game puts the next weapon in your hand after a throw. basically the axe is almost 100% guaranteed kill against any enemy (cept bosses). i can clear out an entire airdrop for example with one sandevestan cycle. and if you let the sandy expire, it flashes an electric charge that wipes anybody left standing around you. the agaou also silently takes out cameras better because it sends out a charge shock, whilst throwing knives you need to be closer and more accurate. if i am sneaking around, i used the agaou for a silent headshot one throw kill. in a really tough boss fight i pair it with a good katana like jinchu maru and switch to that for the boss. agaou shots to the weak point do 100% weakpoint damage and stun any boss mementarily, even smasher. yes, i do smasher with throwing knives and katana.
I built for katanas.. but then found the deserter and the agaou axe and now exclusively use those two. what a combo. so fun. didnt side with Reed fast enough to get the erebus :( so sad about that but hey that shotgun makes up for it.
My build is sneaky pistol ninja + net running. Before 2.0 I would go through the whole game using Death & Taxes but had to change to Pride after the patch. With all the relevant perks, maxed out skills and cyberware, I get almost 100% guaranteed headshot criticals over 5k damage per shot, taking out everything with 1 shot except the bosses (struggled a bit with Chimera, and had to switch to Yinglong for that particular fight)
I was too busy running from that spider robot to even think about searching everywhere for items. Normally I search every inch but that mission I wanted it to be the fuck over asap
I'm using the order shotgun just to lvl up engineer and solo skills And also wtf I was too terrified of that alien isolatiom robot that I forgot to get that erebus
Pizdec the Warden SMG iconic is one of the few smart weapons with a silencer, fires in a 4-round burst in ADS and has a higher crit chance the more you shoot it, my goto for vehicle combat and generally sneaking around
Raiju is excelling at vehicle combat because its uncharged shots can penetrate the vehicle chassis and hit the occupants within, no need to aim for the window.
Probably one of the more unassuming weapons, but I love the Cheetah pistol. It's my go-to silenced pistol. Looks awesome, high crit and bleeding chance, and bonus torso damage. Thing is a beast.
The iconic gun from Dodger (Rosco I think) sounds really good on paper but I wonder how if it’s bugged because the shooting enemies in leg then in the head for insta kill does not seem to work
It does work... The perk description is just a little misleading. 'Neutralise them on the spot' doesn't mean insta-kill, it means it knocks them on their asses. That's why the last part of the perk has guaranteed crits for headshots on enemies on the ground. The idea is you proc the perk by hitting them in the leg and then head to knock them down, if they're still alive the guaranteed crit should finish them off if you hit them in the head.
You have missed the best one - shotgun Alabai. 15 rounds in magazine, fast cadence, applies burn, allways crit when hitting burn, and stacking damage in large groups. Absolutely brutal with shotgun-sandevistan build. Only "downside" is - I got it fairly quickly into the game, and then never wanted to switch to anything else until the end.
the worst is i did everything for the Erebus without knowing it when in the mission i know about it via youtube and then i discover i dont have enough technical hability
the reason raiju is to good in vehicle combat is because of its unique property bullets piercing without charging shots, so when ur firing the gun, practically every shot hits the driver through the vehicle, its quite nice
Idk if it’s just me but ndi osprey isn’t that weak for me, when I use the sniper it will two or one tap enemies even the heavier bosses and that’s not with burst
i play the hardest difficulty. I only use Pride gun (Rogue's gun) with silencer. If you can shoot them in the head, it's impossible that they can stop you. I deal an average of 3800 damage per head shot.
Dude with the current war in Ukraine, I wouldn't use anything thats called comrade, let alone tell people you use it, it should be a dirty shameful secret, I hate the imitation aks from an American company with no western looking weapons, also these futuristic weapons are so limited and just not shooter friendly
You know what else shuts down sandevestan enemies dodging shots? Chemical grenades. While poisoned, they lose movespeed and cannot activate speedware. There's even a chance for an enemy to be stunned, forced to puke.
Love the new smart SMG with the built in silencer, im running a full smart weapon/net runner build and thar smg is just beyond fucking broken. Sorry forgot the name of it but it comes from a side gig from Mr Hands
My favorite weapon in the game is the Psalm 11 18 rifle with legendary suppressor and optics. But “Her Majesty” suppressed pistol is ridiculously overpowered if you are good at makign headshots. I killed Adam Smasher at level 60 with maxed perks at max difficulty, with one shot to the head with that pistol. But the ultimate weapon in the game isn’t a gun… its the Militech Canto MK6 cybermod, which gives you Songbird’s blackfirewall attack. It’s like having an ‘I win’ button where if things are going badly you press it and everything instantly dies. 😂
I honestly still think that the Amnesty is the best revolver in the game. Despite what the game says about its low range, I was able to snipe people from across a large area without any attachments
