Oh, wow, they really just told us David's entire life in the show going forward less than 5 minutes after we've been introduced to him with just one song.
So I played this song once in my morning routine, you know getting up, walking to work and I realized by comparing the scene to my surroundings: We are not far away to the Cyberpunk future anymore...
I don't know where you are, but here in the US there's not even a closeness to it. We're there. Only difference is biotics, what gets called cyberware in the setting, is too expensive to be super commonplace.
This again- the "we're already in a cyberpunk world because it's depressing and distopic" thing when dystopia is just half of the story. Every body forgets the high-tech cyber part of the rebellious punk
@@eviethewinterwitch8370 The punk part isn't being forgotten. It's just something that's been pretty consistently present since the 80s. Can't make a "coming true" remark about something that already existed beforehand.
Lyrics I ain't your average sicko I'm dead, just like disco My bank account is 000, oh no I think I need a hero (oh) I don't have no ego (nah) 'Cause I'm spinning out now, woah (woah) I was a teenage outlaw With no worries on my mind And now I'm getting older My heart is growing colder all the time I was a teenage outlaw With no worries on my mind And now I'm getting older My heart is growing colder all the time (woah) I was a teenage outlaw With no worries on my mind And now I'm getting older My heart is growing colder all the time Woah
Honestly this feels like such an underrated song in the show. Edit: Seeing the likes on this comment and the views of the video, i think its clear to say its not as underrated as previously thought.
I probably heard it about 30 or 40 times now, thanks to the show. It almost instantly became one of my favorites of this decade. Noteworthy and fun. I even fired up the game again just to enjoy more Cyberpunk. Gonna do two more playthroughs just because I wanna.
This is a underrated certified banger should be 10x more popular Edit: Damn we already made it to 226k views I remember when it only had like 40k views 5 days ago.
Verse] I ain't your average sicko (Yeah) I'm dead, just like disco (Dead) My bank account is zero-zero-zero, oh no I think I need a hero (Oh) I don't have no ego (Nah) 'Cause I'm spinnin' out now (Woah, woah-woah) [Chorus] I was a teenage outlaw With no worries on my mind And now I'm getting older My heart is growing colder, oh, that's fine You say it's over It's another day Woah-woah (Woah-woah)
@@DavidA.20 i accidentally skipped episode 2 by mistake, i found out i skipped it when some comments confused me. I got to see the moon date *after* seeing Lucy alone on the moon and while it was gut wrenching it felt almost like a surreal alternate ending to me. Happy little mistake
i was a teenage outlaw with no worries on my mind--damn true things were simpler when u are young and my heart is growing colder all the time---when your older, getting a job settling your commitments life feels restricted and the overkill --- my bank account is 000..OH NO !! dang it that hits as well
Y'all this is on Spotify if you didn't know. It's been on everyone of my playlists since 2077 first came out lmao. Absolute banger I'm glad the songs been revived because of edgerunners
Yeah I am glad that I found these gems bcs of edgeruners too, Cyberpunk 2077s launch made me ignore it for a long time but now I am thinking about getting it after all, they are slowly fixing it and that's really good
@@Shimo_28 the game actually runs pretty good now especially if you own either a next gen console or a good pc, they also added a cyberpunk edgerunners update were you can get like David's jacket, Lucy's string weapon, Rebecca's gun and heaps more stuff from edgerunngers and overall the game is amazing even at launch it just had some major problems with glitches and stuff like that but the storyline, characters and gameplay in cyberpunk is amazing
This song gives me heavy ass nostalgia that's for sure.. maybe because I can relate so much to all the shit David sees when he's walking to and from his place.
Would have loved a drum and bass or trip hop station too in game love this song the anime gave a few lesser known more character and just blows you away. Kudos to this game just on soundtrack alone
