On the grind everyday, but it never seems to be enough; like one’s efforts aren’t sufficient to be the golden image they have their head. I absolutely love this piece, everything works and flows perfectly. Truly an inspiration.

It may be because of watching you work on parts of it during the subathon, but I love this song. It somehow perfectly captures cyberpunk, cyberpunk: edgerunners, and David’s story while also feeling real, Like a lot of the lines hit super hard. Since (at least to me) it gives the vibe of someone constantly working and pushing themselves but never being satisfied and so slowly driving themselves to the edge because of it, not even being the same person by the end it, which is oddly relatable (for as sad as that sounds). It’s also like one of the few songs that has left me with that good kind of metaphorical pit in the stomach, the type where you have to kind of sit there for a couple of minutes to process. Instant playlist.

This is perfect It hits the feels The flow is smooth af The hook is fire A lot of the lyrics are relatable But in a completely different sense It encapsulates Edgerunners & David's story so well Incredible

Fucking incredible this one, Shwab's writing has become so insanely good over the years. Hits the bars, but also hits the emotions. Also the production is getting insane too it just sounds so good. Everyone did so great on this.

Honestly this is fire the verses matches the vibe of David's story and this just complements the gritty reality of his hardships and how he basically " inherited other peoples chrome demons "

Damn, of all of the edgerunner raps I've listened too, this one hit the hardest and reminded me of the depression I received from watching edgerunners in the first place

Ya know, it really doesn’t feel like this song came out just two weeks ago. I’ve been playing it so often on repeat that it’s just kind of become a staple that’s helping my mental health. I’m the last year I’ve voluntarily become no contact with my entire family, totaled two separate cars, and my fiancé of 4 years decided to leave me. Thing is, we can’t afford to separate so I’m still living with her. But I’m the type of person who can’t outwardly show how they’re truly feeling thanks to a long list of past events. I’ve been so emotionally stuck that when I was asked if I was suicidal my response was just “I guess we’ll find out, won’t we”. It’s been a hard time, and it probably sounds silly to say this has been helping me through it, but know that I mean it whole heartedly when I say thank you. Maybe it’s time I step away from my own edge.
