You are literally the only person doing this rn, I’ve read through the comments of this video and I am disappointed to see all the criticisms, the vast majority of people don’t think like that. What you are doing is awesome and I would love to see your daily vlogs. I am highly interested in doing the same thing with my own model 3 or even purchasing this project car from you when it’s completed. Keep it up you’re doing great!
Constant updates will get your channel to the next level. Every RU-vid success story says they hustle for 2-3 years, and sooner than later your channel will explode. With content like this, I'm positive you'll be a name-recognized YT star soon enough. Keep up the good work.
It would be interesting to see that rear window going lower than the rear panels and you could make a tunnel, so that air and water flow straight through the tunnel after the window.
You need make an extraction fan that can go under your garage door to draw those particles out, saw a video on IG where someone used a cheap box fan and duct tape an hvac filter to it yo help catch particles, keep up the great work⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
Also embed iPad in dash to connect to diagnostic software such as teslax, etc. also could function as new stereo interface. Automate frunk, add electric door handles. Install internal and external blogging cameras
If you’ve got enough space, you should use the curved glass at the back, but have the glass sit lower than the rear trunk area of the car, so it’s kind of sunken in at the rear of the glass which would give you a vent/ spoiler look on the trunk part closest to the glass.. it makes sense in my head but I don’t know if I’ve explained it well enough lol
As a 2018 model 3 owner a few key design ideas Sound installation. Road noise sucks and is even worse with the rear seats gone Stereo upgrade, factory sucks Add Hansshow display and connect it to new stereo and amp Focus on quiet and sound system Swivel existing display
If the Cybertruck is ever made, it will be cool to see people realize the CyberSUV en CyberVAN cabs renders out there. Should be way easier than the task you put upon yourself :) I wouldn't mind a Cyber liftback based on the Model S or Model X. Model Y would work as well probably, it's not very tall and can spare some headroom, suspension could be lowered and/or raised with new shocks.
You’re doing great work, however I think you’d save yourself a lot of time, effort, and revision time by designing with sketches and/or cad. Even a clay model to work on the form and overall shape. Otherwise I’m really enjoying this build
Why didn’t you just 3D scan the car, and design the quarter panels and rear end? All this fab work is excessive and now you’re working backwards. I like the build, but could be an easier and better way to go about this design
At the beginning looked like a nice project and nice try of documenting everything. Now, everytime i see a video of yours i feel just bored. You never actually show us the making process, you just talk, talk and guess what..keep talking!! Lastly, after the back to back top glasses that you mentioned i dont know how safe that car would be in case of a collision. Looks so vulnerable!! Anyway, just unsubscribed. Hope you will improve soon.
Just found you through insta. Love this shit man. Your killing it! If you ever need 3D modeling, 3D printing or custom circuitboards let me know. Ill hook ya up as cheap as i can. It would be awesome just to be apart of a project like this. Good luck brother :)
