Even thought the abuse cycle is one of my favorite story lines in the entire series it’s truly one of the darkest and saddest (I definitely think Chuuya is the one who semi saved Akutagawa. It would be fully if they both left the port mafia.)

isn’t it funny how it’s always “i hate Dazai” under Akutagawa angst but never “i hate Akutagawa” under Kyouka angst

The fact that they were just kids specifically the Dz.M theories (pedo Mori) makes me cry even more knowing how Mori could've possibly threatened Dazai to train him ( aktuwaga) like that so Kyoka could turn out good makes this even sadder. (I made up Dz.M bc i didnt know what people called the theory!!! And srry if i misspelled or yot anything wrong, please correct me if so.) Edit: don't think abt the "threatening" thing I said, I have no idea either

I love how the real show added everyone getting saved and being happy and Akutagawa is still mentally unstable and has the most exposure to blowing over, but it still is amazing how Chuuya is there for him.

I don’t understand why every singles out Dazai for the abuse most of the time, they ignore how Akutagawa isn’t a little baby that abused kyouka and mistreats higuchi, they ignore that Akutagawa was getting punished/trained in the scene that we see so he could control his powers and not kill everyone. What Dazai did was to make sure Akutagawa survived in the mafia, he would’ve been killed if Dazai trained him with hugs. It’s not right but don’t blame Dazai for it, he was also just a child, he’s two years older the Akutagawa. Akutagawa has also abused others and everyone ignores it, I’ve never understood why. He’s hurt higuchi so many times, they’re relationship is the exact same as his and dazai’s. People also ignore that mori has abused Dazai, atleast phycologically, by killing the old president, by letting Dazai into the mafia. I don’t get why Dazai hate is always under Akutagawa angst but Akutagawa hate is never under kyouka or higuchi angst.
