Wow...I was also chosen as the lucky "guest performer" for the bike stunt when I went to La Nouba in May. The jump looks easy from the seats, but when you're on stage, those nerves are racing. The whole show, including my short stint at fame, was one of the greatest nights of my life, and I needed a night like that so badly. My first Cirque show certainly won't be my last.
I know how you feel, Mishx, I'd love to work with Cirque Du Soleil too. I've been singing for most of my life, and I would love to be the singer for a Cirque Du Soleil show.
We saw a performance in Orlando a bit over a year ago, and it was wonderful...all the way through. A typical circus doesn't compare, and when I saw a lion tamer in a Ringling Bros. performance a couple months ago, I was turned off. The unusual nature of Cirque du Soleil has me spoiled...in a good way. I wonder if anyone has video of any of their other shows. I understand that at least one of them is a bit risque. That would appeal to my artsy curiosity.
The act never ceased to amaze me. How all of that can be done on a 2 wheel bike, wow. Amateurs watch this video long and hard, you'll need it for advice, because your biking skills are embarrassing at this time
Now that I've watched the whole thing and not just the beginning, it's trials too. I didn't see anyone having sex with members of their own gender, however.
