Join me on a cycling adventure through the very beautiful remote landscapes of Patagonia as I pedal my way from Esquel to El Maiten, covering a distance of 200km on Patagonias oldest railway also called - The old Patagonian express or La Trochita.

Really nice to wake up on a sunday morning and watching this beautiful video. It sure brings back memories of Iohan, I think it is supercool that you follow in his footsteps. I can imagine it gives you the shivers, when you visit places from the video's of Iohan. One of my favorite scenes is from the video "Bikepacking Ruta de los Seis Miles and The Road to Rodeo", where Iohan is sitting in one of the old wagons, and talks about where he is bicycling the next coming days. His tent is inside the wagon, and he just woke up. I guess you will pass there too if you continue this way. There is an amazing view from there. That is the place I would love to visit, just to imagine what Iohan experienced on his journey through South America. Wish you safe travels, cheers.

Hi there! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos. It makes me very happy. I know exactly which scene you mean of the Seis Miles route video of Iohan. It's really intense to me that he cycled in those places mostly alone and in really harsh conditions. It's one thing to experience his journey with his incredible videos. Being there is something else cause it is really tough. I can't wait to visit more of these places and follow in his footsteps. A true legend 🤎 and I'm sure he's watching from above with a big smile.
