In August - September 2021, I took my bike, my tent and my drone to Iceland.
I dreamt on being all alone, me and my bike, on a dirt track in the emptiness of Iceland deserts, and I was not disappointed.
This is a 20mn short movie about this summer nordic adventure split in two videos. This is part 1.

In this video I started from Reykjavik and F35, F756, ring road, to Akureyri. thena bit of the ring road and F88 to Askja lake, then F910 to Eglisstadir, then Ring Road to Landmannalaugar.
To anybody looking for informations before cycling in Iceland, this is what we all need !!

Belle vidéo! Merci du partage! Je passerai 2 semaines en Islande à la fin de juillet. Je comptais refaire la randonnée Laugavegur mais aussi faire le F35 en vélo du sud au nord. J'amènerai mon vélo gravel équipé de pneu 38mm. C'est possible de faire ce trajet sans vélo de montagne plus robuste? Une fois rendu à Akureyri, est-ce qu'il facile de trouver un moyen de transport pour revenir à Reykjavik? Salutations du Canada!

Hello, merci pour ton retour. Et chouette pour ton projet de faire la F35 comme je l'ai faite. La F35 était plutot bien roulante, ça reste une piste "principale" et pas comme les secondaires qui peuvent être très ensablées et pleines de cailloux. Et tu as vu mon vélo, il est plutot simple. POur ta seconde question : il y a des bus réguliers Akureyri - Reykjavik, j'ai moi même fait ce bout de trajet en bus à la fin de la F35

@@pierrequiroulevoyages1231 Super! Heureux de savoir qu'il est possible de faire ce trajet avec mon vélo. Le plus grand obstacle se passera entre les 2 oreilles 🤣 Je suis encore dans la planification de ma route. J'aimerais bien m'épargner des km et débuter soit de Selfoss ou de Gullfoss au lieu de Reykjavik...
