@@danielsamsami bullshit, you sure are a son of rich diaspora iranians... Iran is safer than France. And people have honor and will defend you without knowing you
Hello. When you arrive in Iran, Iranians are hospitable and friendly people. Don't worry. You are entering a country where the civilization of mankind has been formed.❤❤ welcom to Persian
I`m a 64 year old cyclist with a very old dog. I cried when you found Oscar and I`m crying again writing this. What a fascinating episode. Well done all three of you.
In 1963 Dervla Murphy rode solo through Iran (then Persia) on a heavy steel roadster. She describes the wonderful hospitality of the people in her book Full Tilt. The other country she loved was Afghanistan for its fierce, proud, resourceful and decent people.
I live in Iran as an American woman. Nothing to worry about as long as you don't do anything stupid. Don't photograph military sites. Don't join protests. And don't stay outside in the bad parts of town alone at night time. Iranians are the best hosts, though. Do not go to Balochistan alone, and do not cycle over the Iran-Pakistan border. The Pakistani side is really unstable. A cyclist was killed a few years ago.
@adagx4948 LOL. You're trying because you believe all the bs from social media. Every Iranian abroad is rich, happy, and sooooo free (as long as they say the right things). I've actually known a lot of Iranians who immigrated, became disillusioned, and returned.
Congratulations on one of the best videos you've produced. This is an incredible story and your persistence in spite of the amazing drawbacks is honest and very relatable. Thank you and I know that you will have a meaningful journey into Iran and beyond. Thank you for sharing.
I just saw your posting that you've decided to end your journey and return "home" after several years abroad. What an agonizing but fascinating decision and the courage to say that it's time to connect with the world in a different way. I hope that the reverse culture shock of "home" isn't too much and that you find peace in the world. Thank you for sharing this incredible journey. I am sure it will open doors and windows for you.
Oh wow! I was in tears at the end of this. The third repetition of the text about how to decide was so powerful. You are a true adventurer . Thank you for sharing with us.
It must be so much work to film things when you're journey already requites such an effort. Thank you for doing this. I can live vicariously through your vlog.
It is a lot of work indeed. But I started all this because I wanted to show the journey and as there is not only sunshine and flowers, sometimes u gotta go through more challenging situations and also film that :)
Not an animal lover but I was really touched when you decided to go back to Yerevan so that you could take him with you on your journey. As an Iranian, pls be assured that most if not all Iranians you're likely to come across would prove to be nice and hospitable. Once you've explored the country, you would look back and say to yourselves that you were worried unnecessarily. Watch out for traffic and all three of you w'd be fine. Good luck and can't wait for your next video.
I wish I would've seen this video a month ago, I live in Ardebil, I could've accompanied you, we could've had a good time! Anyway I wish you a Great Journey Ahead! and keep this vlogs/channel going! YOU'RE THE BEST!
Wow - what a beautiful, authentic, and inspiring video. I’m in awe of your storytelling & filmmaking and just so inspired by your adventure and how you have navigated some of the many unexpected surprises & setbacks along the way. And on that note, I just love that you decided to embrace Oskar and that you took the time needed to return to Yerevan to get him vaccinated & chipped so that he could continue on the journey with you! I can’t wait to hear what happened next. Congrats on pulling together this epic film and thank you for sharing your journey with the world.
Wow, beautiful story! Exciting times on the road... admire your perseverance! Iran is worth the struggle and I'm sure Oscar makes all the setbacks a bit easier... 😊
It fills my heart with pride at being a human when I see people like you. Oscar seems very happy! Don't believe what you read on the news about Israel-Gaza "conflict". The Israeli government desperately wants to distract from its crimes against humans of Gaza.
Your journey has been incredible to follow. This episode with voice over is from a superb quality really feeling the vibe and difficult choices you face along this path full of uncertainty. Massive kudos for taking us with you cheerio.
Wow! What an amazing bike adventure full of uncertainty and yet opportunity. Admire your determination and courage to continue no matter what. Keep going!
What a fantastic journey and a wonderful story teller, in every video I always feel as though I'm doing the journey with you. Thanks GC, great work. Go steady, be safe....
This is intense! The decision to continue bikepacking through such regions must be incredibly tough. Your journey is inspiring, and it highlights the challenges of navigating through uncertain times. Good luck on your journey!
Good Video. I hate how people just say "restrictions." These are NOT Iranian restrictions. You should say "due to OUR OWN restrictions imposed by OUR OWN governments."
Danke für das erneut so tolle Video. So inspirierend und beeindruckend für mich, wie ihr dem Leben begegnet. Mit allen Facetten. Wünsche euch drein weiterhin eine gute (Lebens-)Reise.
You're amazing! Your videos are wirklich toll! But what is more important for me at this moment are your words. The way you describe the events, decision reasons, and your doubts and uncertainties.
Warm and enthusiastic greetings from The Regency of Sleman, The Special Territory of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Happy cycling in Iran. Take good care of yourselves, Giant Cheerio.
Again , a very very nice clip with deep insights. To me it's the best bike travelling video I've watched so far (and I watch a lot of them) - best by storytelling, camera work and editing. I hope you are fine, whereever you are now - for the sake of your own joy and for sharing your journeys with us in this extraordinary way. Good luck, and ride on!
You are an inspiration and it always brings a smile when your latest Vlog appears, thank you for sharing and Yep the addition of Oskar is also a testament to your kindness. Safe travels
Hi to you 2 and Oscar. I am Iranian-German, and I am sure Iranian people will treat you really well.
Your storytelling and producing those Videos is really enjoyable and I am looking forward to see more.
Your most remarkable video, really admire your determination & your compassion in picking up Oscar . And your videography is getting better & better! Courage!
I am very happy for the little puppy that you both adopt him! He will be a great companion for you I hope your travel through Iran will be a beautiful and peaceful journey I also like the way you do the voice-over It gives a lot of information and I like that very much 😀
well this production is on a next level for sure! Such a heavy feeling in the first chapter and then with Oskar a total mood change :) Amazing editing and filming. You're a very talented storyteller as well. Thank you! Love all your videos.
I have seen all your videos now. I think I spot some kind of lack of happiness deep inside you. And I admire you for wild camping everywhere, especially as a woman. Regards from another traveller and thanks for your pretty well made videos!
Sooo inspiring! Thank u so much! It always feels kind of awkward for me hearing English from a German and speaking English as a german - you have proven me wrong. And super nice storytelling btw.
How suspenseful this episode is! I very much look forward to seeing the next one. Iran is very intriguing. You might get lucky and not encounter any hostility. I have heard about how accommodating and welcoming the people in Iran are.
what alovely documentary (y) Love the adaventure, and offcourse that u found oscar , because now u know why my dogs are my biggest love. Keep following u're heart and never let one tell u what to do, go and follow you're heart
