In this section, Kenzie and I veer off the traditional Northern Tier route in favor of a potentially less mountainous section via the Columbia River valley and the agricultural plateau which rests above it. Using recommendations from locals in Winthrop and Okanagon we pieced this route together which would carry us out of Washington and alas into Idaho.
