Thanks Vecha. Simple physics on display there. The extra mass of MvdP was just too much for that tire contact patch. You could argue that forcing all riders to run the same width tires is unfair but cyclocross is a strange, archaic, sport.

Its so terrible to see such a great champion fall. Mat Van Der Pol. Its a privelige to watch an athlete of his class, compete in the cyclo cross, a real sportsman. He doesn't need to do it, its just that he knows that a bit of hard training at this time of year, is a good thing, lets not get soft, lets not get into the Jan Ulrich mentality, cream cakes, beer and lets get the feet up. There are risks, injury is no joke at his level, therefore if I were his manager, I would say" thats enough", you dont have to prove anything to anyone, its time to enjoy the off season. Bugger the Cyclo Cross.
Those days are gone. The real talents want to race everything. MvdP is a little crash prone but what makes him, Tom, Puck, and Line, special is that they recognize how good someone like Schurter is and they want to challenge themselves against the best in all disciplines.
@@user-nt8nm5zi5y , скорее второе, тем более, что и не только он падал на прошлой гонке. Вантуренхоут вообще бочком со спуска несколько раз соскальзывал чуть ли не пятой точкой. И Пидкок тот же, Изербит неоднократно падал на этапах Кубка. А так, да, в любом деле необходима практика, иначе "теряется чувство" и становишься "деревянным". Он много чего пропустил в кроссе в этом сезоне, отсюда и результат, но по силе по-прежнему лучший.
@@user-th7ob8tw7p, я думаю, что Метью падает от избытка мощи, которой у него больше всех из современной элиты велокросса (не считая Ван Арта, конечно). С техникой у него, конечно, все в порядке - иначе и быть не может. Кстати, фамилия Вантуренхоут произносится как Вантурнен, а Изербит как Изебит. Вслушайся в трансляцию.

Англоязычные - именно так, фламандские - по-другому. Я в школе изучал и нидерландский, если интересно, могу озвучить их по-нидерландски.
The body is high but the spirit is low...accident will always happen expect that... but you should get your feet up and not to make tantrum..if not injured that most then rise up or else the regret of winning is too high..
