A relatively easy fix to make Cyclone much more enjoyable.
The Cyclone pinball machine (made by Williams in 1988) has a single drop target in the center of the playfield that marks the entrance to the spookhouse. The drop-target is close to the flippers and the ball's rebound off of it can be very strong--sometimes smacking the glass and flying back towards the flippers.
A small piece of clear Lexan can be cut to fit under the spookhouse plastic, covering the area in front of the drop-target. This prevents the ball from launching off the drop-target, keeps the ball on the surface of the playfield, and absorbs some of the force of the rebound.
