Bloody hell, thats amazing for such a small device . I bought the Ring RTC 4000 last year , probably twice the size of the one you demonstrated, oh well, never mind !. Excellent video.
I've seen a few of these videos now reviewing this. Cycplus have obviously sent a few out to get them banded about. It looks a decent piece of kit, but not sure I'd pay £99 for it. Nice review👍👍
Nice to see another piece to camera Dave 👍. Very much looking forward to this review. In the meantime, I always check I'm subscribed. But it doesn't hurt to just click it again to refresh. Let's get you to 10k subscribers! Right then - on with the video 😊
l know what you mean about crawling about on the floor/ground 'fiddling' wif ya bike. More especially when one's body isn't as supple as it once was. However, in the absence of a roadside usable Bikelift. l suppose in this case one could rotate the wheel so the valve is toward the top rather than the bottom..
impressive bit of kit,and when watching the video i was thinking 'i will have to get myself one of those'until i clicked on the link and saw the price. No thanks i will just keep my £10 compressor which only takes up a small amount of space in my top box and i dont have to remember to keep it fully charged all the time.
Another brilliant pice of kit Dave you’ve demonstrated. 5% discount too. Hell, you can’t get better than that. Great demo video Dave, absolute cinch to use by the look of things. Nice one bud. 👍🏍📹
Congratulation on reaching 10k subscribers, Dave! The inflator looks to be a very useful piece of kit; could have used one on a recent group ride when one of the bikes suffered a slow leak. Of course, back in the day, bikes came equipped with a bicycle-style hand pump. I think the lack thereof on modern machines - like mudguards that work and centre-stands - is called progress.
Thanks for this i have just bought one and saved a few quid. I've been thinking of the AS2 for a while, but on my way home from a small tour in the borders thursday, i noticed my back tyre felt a little deflated, so pressed on another 10 miles to Alston where i used an air line at the texaco station for an eye watering £1.50 (last time i used one they were free lol). I like small and compact stuff as i dont take a lot of luggage, so this will fit in my tail bag great. I aint happy about finding a tiny screw lodged in a 2 month old tyre and it costing me £200 for a replacement, but them's the breaks i suppose !!. GL
Impressive kit. I couldn’t justify the expense and will continue to use the small bicycle pumps which cost about £15. I have unfortunately/fortunately, depending on your view, had to use this three times. Yes, it takes a while to pump up a rear 130 tyre, but… Wouldn’t mind the Cycplus if it were a Christmas present 😊
Really nice piece of kit Dave. Strangely enough, I was cleaning the Honda Rebel yesterday. I had done the tyre pressures last week, putting on a right angle valve, which I purchased from wish. Yes, the tyre was as flat as a bannock! Leaky valve. No problem, I got a portable air compressor I bought from Amazon, great functionality. But took about 10 minutes to inflate the tyre ((Rebel, is Fatter) was left with 1 bar! This machine is more compact and did it, in a heartbeat!😊😊😊 Wowser.
Congrats on the 10k subs mate , I`ve seen this before looks a decent bit of kit , bit pricey but if it is quality and lasts then its a decent investment.
Morning TBW, i have a repair kit that came with those gas canisters, this is a much better way to inflate your tyres so this is going onto my fathers day list of essentials.....
Ay-up .. nearly at 10K :) ... thanks for the discount code, I've ordered one as thse 50's or £1's add up if you use the public ones and we've got 4 bikes & 3 cars to keep inflated!
Wowser that is one expensive piece of kit there lad, I am thinking the larger model (A8) would still suffice at half the price I will learn to live with the extra bulk... I am not from Yorshire but by'eck lad
Good review.. I'd give it some serious consideration if it was half the price they are selling them at! There are much cheaper options available that would do the same job. Having said that, if you've got buckets of spare money, and you're someone who is pushed for space to carry a tyre inflater this would do the job. For me to buy it at the advertised price I'd also want included vouchers to purchase 30 gallons of 2 star, 10,000 Green Shield Stamps, and a shot of Red-X on every fill up lol. Them were the days, when a lass would come out and squirt it in your tank with a smile on her face lol. Us lads here in Lancashire are a bit more savvy when it comes to parting with our dosh, lol. Thanks for the video, B.W. 👍
I have a standard foot pump at home , but carry a motorcycle repair kit that contains sticky rope plugs , plus several co 2 bottles with an inflator attachment. A few years back I purchased an inflater from a well known high street catalogue store . It’s a small orange coloured plastic box with a tyre pressure gauge & inflater tube attached . The device has RAC on it & made in China ,it comes with a crocodile clip & car or motorcycle cigarette socket attachment plug & lead . I haven’t tried it yet , but I heard they take about 7 mins to inflate a motorcycle tyre ( cost a few Quid ) . That inflater you got ,looks less than half the size , & does a fast job , looks like it’s really intended for the Lycra brigade on push bikes ,with skinny high pressure ( 95 psi + ) racing tyres ,more than your motorcyclist . I am a bit sceptical of something that small & fast , lasting the pace . If it’s only a few quid say around 30 quid it’s maybe worth a punt, I have a top case or under seat storage on my motorcycles ,so I don’t really need ,an inflater that size . I can remember seeing some motorcycles I think MZ that came fitted with bicycle pumps in olden days , always a good back up . 👍
They are about £100 on Amazon, which is a bit steep for something to carry on your bike just in case you need to blow a tyre up while out and about, I think I will stick with my repair kit and CO2 cartridges.
@@slappyfz1s402I agree priced at a 100 quid ,they must be having a laugh . I will stick to the set up I have already & maybe add a small bicycle hand pump ,as an extra back up .
Doesn't look like it has a replaceable battery. If you get one use it all the time to get your money out of it, once it's dead, it's dead. Might not be too hard to replace if you are familiar with spot-welding lithium-ion batteries but that's a minority of users. That said; if you need a pump often, this looks like nice.
Yes it would get there easily / quickly on a bicycle tire, however would probable not achieve 20 psi on a tractor tyre, it’s all about mass flow rather than psi ie how much of the stuff (air) you need to move from A to T Atmosphere to Tyre 😂😂😂😂 expect a lot longer times/ battery usage on large car tyres, nevertheless a great little product for our purposes thanks for the review 👍😀
120 psi is for road pushbike tyres... which the pump was predominantly intended for... light enough to fit into their lycia backpockets... looks good kit to get you out of trouble though
The unit I have from Aldi is 4x the size ok for the pannier while on tour but this unit is very compact, thanks will have to check if available in Australia. Nice chunky tyre on the royal Enfield and is that exhaust standard or upgraded ?
