Nah. Belinda RUINED her singing voice due to getting singing lessons for her solo career. I use to be arguably the biggest gogos fan. Belinda can't even sing the gogos right since voice lessons. Her solo records are so overly produced on her vocals as well. This duo sucks! Cyndi never changed her singing voice nor turned fake as Belinda has. Oh, I've met her MANY times since the 80"s. She's quite the bitch. I lost all of my respect for her when she flicked her cigarette ashes on a fan who said nothing to her but was in an " omg" state Belinda was walking by past her. Belinda stopped, gave her an EVIL look then flicked her ashes on top of her head. I would have kicked her ass if she ever done that to me or a good friend. Bands on tour with her avoid her.. I know personally because i am friends with many bands she periodically tours with from the 80's. I use to be the biggest fan, per say of the gogos and a big of her solo, but after meeting her a few times and how she reacts to EVERYONE... F her. She is a hateful bitch! And i odfly get along with other rock star bitches. Belinda is a weird off the wall kind of a bitch. Cyndi f'd up with this one. I assume she only invited her to sing this VERY incredible special song because Belindas son is a homo?????

There are plenty of musicians who play their instruments today. Pop music isn't as good as it was in the 80's but there's always been good underground music.

Got to see Cyndi last year, and her voice is still amazing. Been fortunate enough to see Belinda (with The GO GOs ) several times. Great singers from my teenage years !!!! AMAZING
These are two women who have done a lot for women in Music. Cyndi being an incredible singer & a fabulous songwriter. Belinda being the lead singer to the first all female Band to play there own instruments and write there own songs. Also to have a number one album on the charts. They will go down in music history. Bless them Both.
Cindy Lauper never changed who she was! She stayed so original its not funny...She is the only singer i have ever seen that stayed the same....Her Personality was and is so special its very special its so special that i no of no one like her!..She is so Genuine! I love that lady and yes we do not figure out how special this time really was!...She sounds the same as she was back in the 80s...Wow...People when we eventually Lose Cindy Lauper we will have lost a icon and special person...Because there is no other Cindy Lauper! On a Good Note i got to say we have her son! Thank God!....I also put Belinda Carlisle with Cindy very iconic! Very Special both of them!
Cindi Lauper looks fantastic for 66! She does not look a day older than 50. I don't think there is another woman except Maddona who would rock a mohawk at 66. Belinda also looks great. True colors is a soulful masterpiece and I have big plans for it.
some of the comments about Belinda are flat out mean an-call for why can you just enjoy their talent instead of criticising and judging based on her looks you have no idea what Belinda has gone through she battle alcohol and drug addiction for 30 years and yet she overcame that and has been clean since other artist weren't so lucky and they succummed to the disease they no longer with us but Belinda did it Belinda is a courageous woman she survived i truly admire her she is a strong woman she is an inspiration for those dealing with drugs and alcohol amazing lady you are Belinda before anyone start judging someone put yourself in their position examine your life first before judging anyone especially an icon like Belinda i want to see you guys sing like her at 60 she s beautiful woman always has been so what if she had some work done big deal is none of our business just enjoy them while we still have them God bless you Belinda and Cindy you are truly remarkable women !!

As a hair metal 80s dude I saw Cindy in concert in 83 and it was one of the best live performances I ever saw. She's amazing, and just a power on her own. Now, since then I've seen many, many artists play live and they were mostly great, but that concert in 83, she was just at the top of her game and that's not to deny how amazing she is now, she's very consistently great at what she does, I'm just glad I was there back in the day. I'll always be a fan of Cyndi lauper!
Funny Cyndi mentioned that she listened to one of Belinda's songs when she exercised, because I listened to Cyndi singing "True Colors" while I was undergoing some excruciatingly painful physical therapy. I've been a fan ever since she helped me through, what the physical therapist admitted, normally causes tears to roll down people's faces. I'm very grateful!
Looks are one thing attitude is everything...Belinda had a shit attitude towards fans when the GoGos were at their prime (me being one of them) I have forgiven her but will never forget!
