Her albums in the 90s really should have been more commercially succesful. But i guess that she was not mainstream or (boring) commercial enough for that time. We still though have the incredible albums to listen to, and that warms my heart a lot. :)
Jacob Patrick Poulsen You’re probably right, I’m not familiar with her 90’s music. I bought her first two albums but seemed like radio stopped playing her after I Drove All Night. She’s really talented.
Gillian Louise Omotoso because I have a phobia and I do not feel comfortable being touched by someone. Especially with how the ecenomy is now in the US. I laugh at it. Hahahahahah. And I was not talking about Cindy Lauper. I was talking about the poser in the picture on youtube. Peace and goodwill to you. Hopefully you will find what makes you happy instead of this materialistic world because money produces unhappiness and so can drugs and alcohol. Preach!!!!!!! Lol.
Gillian Louise Omotoso you know, I believe everyone has good looks on the outside. But not everyone walks the walk or keeps their promises before their marriage vows. I hope you find what makes you happy in this world. Everyone has to make their own freedom in this life.
I am irrationally frustrated that her 90’s albums weren’t commercially successful. That’s how I discovered her being a millennial. Those two albums spoke to me like no other music has.
Cindy was talking about the rising trend of slow decay of the traditional family unit, and was sad for her; I wonder how she feels about this now in 2020 and how 'New Age Feminism' is a driving force behind this destruction. Conversely Cindy has always seemed to be a 'Classic Feminist' who embraces true womanhood; see her Jonnie Carson interviews from 1984-85.
@@chrisc3697 yes, Ive been exploring her life lately and she was seeming really cool and special until I discovered the lib bs side of her and I cant get past it. I think modern liberalism is a sickness and it ruins e-thing it touches.
@@chrisc3697 Are you serious? Dude she has always been liberal. In 1986 she wrote Boy Blue for her friend that died of AIDS, that song was featured on her True Colors album. She has always been a strong feminist and gay supporter at least since the late 70's. Her sister is a lesbian. $1000 bucks your a major Trumpanzie.
Id never seen a bad interviewer until he came out, I couldnt watch him, it made me tense to see him struggling thru each one, makes no sense that he had a fabulous career at something he is especially awful at. Like Ringo making millions from his singing...
It's not the best idea, but he already knows and acts like he doesn't because before him, interviewers would say, "Uh, so someone told me that you were married. Now, uh, is that, uh, what about that?" Hell, Letterman did that up until he was finished.
Sorry, Conan O'Brien,.. But The Music Video Song Is Entitled "That's What I Think"... Not That's What It Takes. But I Love You. And Isn't CYNDI JUST FUN???!!! ❤️❤️❤️💢💢💢⚡⚡⚡🤣🤣🤣
This was back when she still put on a voice in interviews to be funny, like I'm sure she would still be funny without putting on a voice like in her tv show she had in the early 2000's but yeah she had a bit of a sweetheart girly girl ditsy person gimmick till she dropped the voice to her natural tone and in essence stopped acting ditsy and became herself.
I don't think it's fake. I think it's just her in an excited state. I mean when you're trying to be entertaining you're really just emphasizing a certain part of yourself.
