Gotta give some recognition to Enoch & Speck, because CYNE's beats are otherworldly and way ahead of their time. Nujabes is a master and brought them recognition, but Speck & Enoch are also masters. Same goes for Ant of Atmosphere & DJ Abilities.
Man, I was 14-15 when I found this. Before the mass social media and youtube, I just found dudes through Nujabes. The rest is history. I'm 34 now still bumping this. Just that now I listen with my daughter. If CYNE were to come out today with crowd funding I think they would be HUGE!
This is frikin steady, makes my goddamn head heavy filled with insane lyrics that are spilt from the soul that feels that hole in todays so called hiphop
Damn! I've been on hiatus in terms of listening to hip hop. This sh%t is nod factor plus. Reminds me of Binary Star with the great lyricism over buttery smooth jazz beats. Also like CYNE's collab work with nujabes (which is actually what led me here). Thanks for streaming this.
We let the mic breathe like the dying breeze in need we feed words that breed hope Maneuver past the greed indeed We made the eagle fly We made freedom cry by watching [?]them try deceiving the eye[?] Fuck an alibi we was there On the balcony when shots blared My vision was scarred But we're still here Something for the people y'all Do you remember when Martin had a dream and Bobby had a regiment?
This is frikin steady, makes my goddamn head heavy filled with insane lyrics that are spilt from the soul that feels that hole in todays so called hiphop! Right?
My god the audio quality is fucking awful, but this takes me back to the early days of RU-vid. Still an amazing song. I might make a CYNE mix - I think RU-vid needs one.
pfft i started to listen cyne when i was 15 !!! lol i never knew what underground amazing sound was till then , wish someone would of told me before ....cyne forever
Great Point, everyone has different tastes. I like to condition myself to like things I previously didnt care for. Like Wine, Cheese, Dark Chocolate, Black Licorice and Johnny Cash... Now I love all those things. The ability to find joy in something others might not.... Now that is talent! A Connoisseur of life! And by the way, this song is Amazing. I wish everyone could hear this... and "Get it."
agreed with cboe. this is some true hip hop. Its the raven that never came, back to the ark, hangin out with the viper at the garden of eden the anger the god, so who u really are, movin eclipsin the star best line
@TheFunkJunkieMusic its just one of them beats.. it reminds of sagaba blue scholars. i know they sound nothing alike but they've both always been two underground songs that ive been listening to for so long and been in love with for so long and they just never get boring. something so pure about those two beats
