ONE. How does Cynthia always have perfect pitch?! TWO. Shoshana has so much soul. THREE. These two might be the best duo we have anywhere right now in the world!!
Wow! When it started I wasn't sure I was going to like this version, because I get out that the arrangement was different in the background. Sounded kind of jazzier, and I wasn't sure it would work. But I trust of these ladies and their gift, and not only did they turn it out, but the arrangement worked in the end. Amen!
Why does it feel like this musical arrangement doesn't support the vocals? It sounds very off to my ear, and yet they're both so astonishingly amazing they don't seem at all thrown by it.
Kevin Boseman The performance was recorded live with a single microphone on the camera that you are seeing the video from. It seemed there was a bit of laughter from the audience just as Ms Erivo was beginning to sing, most likely something off camera caused that laughter...Many things happen in live performances. What is clear is that both of these beautiful women are absolute professionals and did not skip a beat in presenting their beautiful performance.
The most amazing part is Shoshana singing the High and Low notes. Cynthia is so smooth and angelic but she’s a classical mezzo. Sho has always had the range of a Spinto. It’s what makes their voices beautifully matched.
Audience awhhh when cynthia starts singing because of her beautiful voice or because they just finally gets, it's the prayer song originally sung by celine Dion and andrea bocelli.
The voices are just amazing, but sorry, that music arrangement doesn't work at all... That song is a classic, and you must follow the melody step by step, so much riffs are not working
