Corner Hotel, Melbourne. Joel McDonald - Lead Guitar. Dario Bortolin - Bass. James Morley - Rhythm Guitar. Greg Aldridge - Drums. Cynthia Gallie - Vocals. What would be the 73rd Birthday of Bon Scott on July 9th 2019/
She's very good, the band too, but temporary replacement for Brian during that previous very sad time for AC/DC....no! That worked out the way it was supposed to, and now the band is back to the way it should be....apart from Phil's unfortunate coming and going; hope he joins them on stage very soon. This band in this video is very good, well done!
Nice job! I saw Bon but not forgotten on the Gold Coast, around 2011. Mark Evans on bass, Simon Wright on drums, was a fucking killer show. I've got a few songs I recorded, which i may upload to RU-vid soon.
Great, great work! The entire band…just great work. I’m learning this song for a new band. Ya’ll set the bar really high. Backing vocals were ferocious as well.
Last year they had a dozen acdc cover bands including steven n segulls playin on the back of flatbed trucks leaving from the raffles hotel to a park near Melville i think.Crowds lined the canning hwy for 10kms and apparently there was 400,000 that turned out for it and it was part of the perth arts fest and highway to hell festival. I dont know with covid it'll happen again though this year
This is the strange and cool thing about AC/DC. The musicianship here is very good, the vocal is just perfect, honestly if Brian stop singing she can do the job, I will be way more excited tan seeing AXL. But the rythm section Cliff, Phil, Malcolm are the key and no one sound like those three, I'm not even a fan just have to admit it's perfect Rock rythm section. And that explain why even with the most talented musician there is always somethin missing without them. The funny thin is Angus being the Icon, and I totally understand why but in term of musicality I think he might the only one to exit the line up without changing the band identity in term of music. In term of image he is simply AC/DC and it's something. I like phil too because he makes me think of Klaus Dinger from nine who was playing this perfekt motorik rythm for hours in live and I saw the with Sonic Youth drummer, one of the best techically speaking, and it was a very bad show with vey musician playing very good songs. If youd on't know about neu it's a very different vision of rock but the first album has this king of rythm based rock only it's instremental and very german. Please givie it a shot not your everyday band the kind you hate or love.
