I fished that spot to the right side of the bridge all the time ..find a deep hole and you will find fish ..try using a white or chartreuse paddle or curly tail with a 1/4 oz jig…it early right now so you will catch a lot of small males but by mid FEB THE BIG GRILS WILL COME UP TJE CREEK FROM THE LAKE…
@@lagoonaticfishing4057 I went to the creek on Monday after work..fished from 3:45 - 5:30 ..I caught 6 keeper size (all males) one was 13”…it will be good after the creek water level goes down ..I used shad color paddle tails and chartreuse Curly tail …the larger fish came off the paddle tails….saw one guy when I got there , he said he’d been fishing for 4 hrs and only got one ..then I asked if anyone was catching any..he said one guy who was using shad he caught from the creek… I keep you posted on my next trip.
@@shade-treehunter8965 Hey appreciate the update! Yeah I've seen pics of the creeks after this recent rainfall, they're way high. Bait selection is important with these guys that I've seen. Could be sitting there but you'd never know unless you used the correct bait to entice a bite. Let me know how your next trip goes!
Becareful in and around the creek there are some deep holes 🕳 in there. A young man died falling into one while wade fishing with his uncle last year. New subscriber 👍🏿
