Katsaris has one of the greatest technics of all time as well as that wild, eccentric personality that comes out in his playing creating unique, exciting performances.

Love this concerto. Some argue he is fast. True. But Beethoven was the first to mock when he improvised against that man other pianist to show he was the greatest at the piano at that time. U can't be serious all the time.. It is being played. Be thankful ....

Cyprien Katsaris est sans doute le plus extraordinaire pianiste depuis très longtemps, trop longtemps même, et ça explique peut-être l'ennui et donc l'intérêt du public pour de nouvelles stars chaque année et qui le relèguent forcément (il y a un seul piano par récital) en marge relative des feux de la rampe. Le public est idiot.

Nice transcription of the Orchestral part with the Piano part. However, it sounds too rushed. He even started while people were still clapping. Nice overall though

Considering how rapidly the sound decays I think the tempo attempts to keep the orchestral sonorities as large as possible until the decay sets in.

He really is talented. Hes always looking at the audience for approval like 0:11 obviously so confident in his skills that he doesn't even seem to think about them. Looks a bit like krusty the clown in the Simpsons though 😂 Bit of a novelty though. I could listen to the concerto multiple times but this is just a poor imitation. Unless you know the piece you probably wouldn't appreciate it at all

knowing the piece though, i am astonished, for the brillant piano Transkription... he plays all the meaningfull instrumental parts of the shymphony, in a mere piano.. With 10 fingers..!!!!!!?????!!!! how the hell is it possible?? He is the best orchestrator that ever lived..!!! Beethoven himself could be the only one on earth, that played on piano the whole symphony... by composing I bow myself in front of this outstanding musician, he is a Genius interpreter....
