Cystocele, Entrocele and Rectocele Repair | 2 Week After My Pelvic Floor Prolapse Surg 

AWWW thanks lovely - honestly once you are done with it all the relief from being fixed is worth the recovery. Just make sure you take it very easy and you will soon be smiling. My next surgery is OPEN HEART SURGERY....yes that's right they found congenital birth defect at xmas so i am having big op. @@TheWickfrees Oh I pray for you darling. My surgery has been put off because 3 surgeons have to be present and one doesn't have a free day for a long time. One for rectocele, one for cystocele, and one for hysterectomy because I have a large orange tumor in uterus they are not sure contributes to constipation but since they are there anyway, they decided to take that out. Let me ask you a question. I have been dealing with contipation for years and years.. always used enemas and they worked. Now I take like 6 enemas a day to get rid of either gas or feces. I have mild cramps. I don't have the horrible symptoms that some people have. Sometimes I don't get all the pee out but not a huge problem. Did you have huge gas problem eating fibrous foods? My fav foods are broccoli, beans and whole grain everything. I think a lot of my motivation for surgery is eating these again.Would you say you suffered way more than me in order to decide surgery? I know each person has their breaking point but I keep wondering if I should try to live with this. The only thing is, I hate eating white bread, processed everything in order not to pass gas all night. If you have time reply.. if you are in the hospital or something don't. Anyone else feel free to weigh in. Thx NYC girl

+Nystrom hey there first of all don't be scared it is always far worse than you imagine. I think you are badly constipated and need a diet change to help you with that first. Things like no alcohol, no caffeine, cut down on fibre as too much can make things worse, loads of water, movicol daily as well. The feeling of pressure could indicate an issue as i had that as well - main thing is go get checked and referred and work on your diet. straining for long periods of time can cause recto and entroceles. hugs and hope you get sorted xx

+Alexandra Wickfree thank you for your advices, I will keep them in mind! I just contacted my health clinic today and I will be getting the help I need soon and I think that I am badly constipated yes and that that has caused the rectocele... cause I am pretty sure that I have that even though I haven't been checked out yet all the symptomps fit and I have that well known bulging feeling but we'll see what they say once I get back to the doctor :)

+Chit 4Chat hello there - i need to do week three update - feeling LOADS better after my pelvic floor surgery ;-) you do heal far faster than you think. just be careful re Irritable bowel syndrome - even friends who never had it are in pain with it. The wind and everything were the worst hahaha - for everyone around me x I don't know re the sex yet TBH i have to wait until after six week check to even try - i think most of scar tissue is on inside but things are defo smaller down there lol xx

I hope you are recovering now though and seeing the benefits of the surgery xx

Have you got your surgery now ? agreed the mesh is a terrible idea and causes so much pain for so many! its great to hear that the repairs above us are NON MESH! honestly they gave me a smaller and tighter lady area and its GREAT hahaha...they warned me i was like an 18 year old again! and to take care with it all. was 12 weeks before we could do anything tbh and now its 5 plus years and as perfect as ever. its pre kids basically so happy me and happy hubby!

Yes I’ve had surgery! I had it back in April. Hysterectomy and posterior repair, and high uterosacrel colpexy. It’s much better now😅 haha. I will say it’s not like a 18 years old again though
