I've had this gun for half a year now. Great shooter. Mine likes BBM ammo, 40gr. (affordable ammo). Can't be bothered buying match ammo for the amount I shoot. Enjoy it, it's a nice piece and worth the money.
@@scarbourgeoisie There exists two different type of bulk SK MAGASINE - they both are yellow, one of them is cheeper and is quiter. I have them both and will do some testing and comparison (velocity and rim thickeness deviation, accuracy,...) after that f....ng COVID dissapiars
@@donrumato3413 I sold my LRP a two months ago and picked up a 455 Mini Sniper. It has a fluted barrel with suppressor like the LRP, but it’s not a match barrel like the LRP. It actually shoots better than my LRP at 100 yards. I also have a CZ457 16” Pro Varmint that’s amazing at 50 yards.
I am a grumpy old man , back in 1967 a salesman told me all powder is burnt in a 16 1/2 inch barrel . that's funny as my Sterling .22 with a 24 inch barrel has carbon burn on the and of the barrel . when I was 16 I had a Remington model 76 .22 with a 20 inch barrel & moderator ,& you had to clean the carbon out of it .if you have a box of .22 ammo that is meant to do 1400 fps it will in a 24 inch barrel but drops 50 fps for every inch short of 24 inch I had a High Standard .22 with a factory 6 inch bull barrel ,you could not hit a 4inch square at a 100yards but putting a 15 inch Vickers target barrel on it you could hit the 4 inch square , . from a 24 inch down to a 20 inch barrel you lose 200 fps + - but more important you lose 4 inch of barrel twist for bullet stability . a 6 inch barrel makes a lot more noise the a 24 inch barrel. the .303 SMLE No 5 carbine made in the second world war has a flash arrester on the end of the barrel WHY .
trying to decide if i should buy this or the stainless steel camo 457. ill be hunting in wet areas. please let me know if the lrp is more accurate and suitable for hunting thanks.
i am about to make a purchase but cant make up my mind between Bergara B14R and CZ 457 LRP, could you share your opinion and maybe points for and against each?
Yep, seen it now thanks, T25 Torx. Like it says, this is spontaneous, fresh from the box and I had never even laid eyes on it before this video was made yesterday.
If they earned any money, I might. I use different gear for spontaneous vids than commissioned work because i feel spontaneity is far fresher and honest to watch than pre planned and scripted films. 804 other people (and counting) just turned up the volume. Filmed in the field, not a studio👍🏻
No, but after shooting it for four weeks I decided I couldn't send it back so I bought it. My first new gun in a long time. Since I review and shoot dozens every year for the last decade, that's perhaps quite a good statement
@@chrisparkin431 very surprised at your reply, Chris. For someone promoting the sport I would have thought you of all people would know it is not good practice to dry fire a rim fire rifle as you did in the video. Centre fire yes as the bolt does not make contact with metal as it does with rimfire hence the name hitting the rim. Its not what I think it's what I know. Its yours to damage as you please. Silly to include it on your video. Regards
@@chrisparkin431 I do not disbelieve what you are saying and I am glad with all your dry fires you had no damage to all the rifles you dry fired as you say but I repeat it is not good practice and why would you want to do it and possibly do damage. Cheers
@@heinkelA2 lol that wasn't a very nice response u got, guy doesnt seem to know or care much about stuff he is blowing money on, just likes showing off his toys. anyway your right it isn't good practice but a lot of newer firing pin designs allow for dry firing by having what they call a captive bolt that stops short and doesn't ever contact the face that the rim sit on (in theory) but even those guns (like this cz) still recommend not doing it "excessivley".
