Eli's challenges don't ever seem to be easy. I reckon he' has shares in ammo companies because boy do I use a lot on trying to get good scores...lol! Now of to download this target and give it a go! Nice shotting Ryan.
@Dayattherange haha 😄 😆 🤣 Not at all, my friend! I love those little twists, man!! I'm scared to shoot this, to be honest, and none of them have scared me thus far!! 😔 But you know I will, and you know I will share, because we need more people out enjoying this sport for sure! Next good day Elijah ... I'm going to do my best 👌 👍 see you soon!
Dude , you are the king of 200yds . Your last video on Eley team has comments turned off . I wanted to ask if you think the IBI BARREL is better at 200 than the factory . I know it’s gotta be hard to tell since conditions are likely a bigger factor. One other thing , you have adapted very well to shooting in the wind . I see some wind almost as bad as Elijah’s range, sometimes yours is even worse . Your “breeze” is considered a “gust” by many shooters . I appreciate you keeping it real . Do you hold off for the wind, or wait on it to die down before breaking the shot? Amazing work at 200! NGFR!
Hello there, thanks for your positive feedback! I do find the IBI makes a big difference and it just makes the shots more consistent. I have a feeling the longer barrels work best at longer ranges because the powder burn is used up in a 22lr before 20” and the bullet gets a little bit of a slow down before exiting the bore so I do think a 22” or 24” would be best. I want to ask the guys at IBI if they would spin one up for me to test. As far as the wind goes I do hold off if I’m shooting a spinner or something like that but if I’m shooting a group I normally always hold the same point of aim to see what the wind will do to the bullet in its flight. When I shoot those dayattherange.com challenges I’m almost always holding a correction. My 200 yard videos I try and wait for similar wind conditions but as you see in the videos I don’t wait to long. All my shot strings aren’t cut down when I edit. When I edit I cut out a bit at the beginning like when I build my position but almost always the shots happen as they did the day I filmed
@@BROTUNED I’ve been told the longer barrels reduce the SDs somewhat . I just got a 25” Modacam . I wish I had data from before I got it . At any rate , it shoots much more consistent groups than my 20” Lilja . There are a lot less fliers using the same ammo .
I saw your video this morning and just had a couple hours of free time so I printed shot and edited this but now I wish I would have scored it correctly. But thanks I didn’t know what the ara scoring is and worst edge but it makes total sense now! Don’t I feel stupid lol great shooting though I’m glad Eli does these things for our community
