@hastings631 would be one of the test I will be doing when I have all my sensors working: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--SeA6eiWK4I.html
Honestly, for the money (I guess) you have invested into the gun those groups are not so good. Why didnt you try some competition ammo like Lapua Center-X, Midas+, or RWS R50?
@haneson I am in the process of tuning my barrel and experimenting. I am doing this just for curiosity and trying to figure out how to improve the barrel harmonics. See my updated video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--SeA6eiWK4I.html I have bought some Eley Match Ammo as well as Norma Match 22. Once I think I have it tuned, I will definitely try out the more expensive ammo.
@@TunerPlinker Please dont get my post as some kind of "hate" or as milenials call it 😀 I am just not sure, whether the harmonics of the barrel once set up with some ammo, will work for different type. I have Anschutz 1913 and tuner needs to be set up not just for one type of ammo but for different lots as well.
@Haneson Good inputs. I don't think it is some kind of "hate". I know ammo is really important but can't stand how expensive good ammos are. I just bought and have received a Neil Waltz reprofiling die set... Too much to try and experiment. Just got to do one thing at a time.
@@TunerPlinker I know, here in Czech Republic cost one round of RWS R50 about 30 cents, which is crazy. Hovewer we are lucky, that we have a guy who has an eshop with ISSF stuff, and he buys different lots of competitive ammo. I test ammo by purchasing 100 rounds of 2 lots of RWS and Lapua ammo and then picks up the best performing one. I´ve used to try tuners etc. but ended up in a discovery, that it is not for me since I would have to buy a large amount of one lot which I would set the tuner to. And as you said - it is hell of a expensive - for me. So I shoot without it by use of tested lot and must say I didnt recognize the difference.
Golly with all that gear hanging off the barrel all your shots should be in ONE hole. Mate my Australian made Lithgow 101 Crossover .22 caliber will do what you are doing, with out all that mumbo jumbo on your barrel, straight out of the box. No I am not bragging either. With either CCI target, Federal standard, SX. pistol target ammo etc.
This is for kicks and experiments. Not very scientific here. I really don't like to add the bloop tube cuz it will detune things. Not to say that it can't be tuned better.
