Sweet. Mind you I have my 17 HMR action on the barrel now ( swapped over to 22 LR ) with the unaltered striker and am having no issues. Pretty weird!

Seems odd that the springs in both bolts were buggered. Could dry firing those bolts have contributed to it?

Shame the thick wall stuff. My 457 shoots the Elley ammo and loves them. Just last weekend I shot the Elley match 5 shots .4 inch group, Elley subsonic HP .25 inch 5 shots and CCI Green tag it really loves also 10 shots into .5 inch and .3 inch 5 shots all of these at 50m

I'm a total Eley Match fanboy but this barrel is a totally different animal so fingers crossed that it shoots EM well. Cheers.
