I so badly want one. The aftermarket mods for it are abundant and the 35 round mags I’ve heard work very well. Great review!

Hey Josiah, do it! I took mine out again today and put another 100 rounds through it and had a blast! Just as an update, in my carbine, the 35 round Pmags load and run fine, but they still don't drop straight out when you hit the mag release. They have to pulled out for some reason. Still working on that, but I have heard someone else having no problem with them. Maybe my lower is just a little tighter than his.

Don’t get the rifle, I have the 3+ micro and it’s a blast. Idk why people get a 16” barrel for 9mm

@@murkyturkey5238 HA! Lol, got the reach of someone 6’9” but I am only 6’5”. I do also like the 16” because I can run a stock on it without having to worry about getting a tax stamp for it until I get the shorter barrel and suppressor!

Thank you so much!!! I appreciate the feedback! If you are Red Green color blind, try one out, they are a game changer! Swampfox makes the Blade scope in amber, and it's a great CQB or home defense scope, Holosun makes a couple of the dot scopes in gold as well. Of course, you can get the ACOG in gold too...maybe EVENTUALLY for the next rifle I am thinking of, not for the Scorpion...

Looks good! The only thing I'd change if I could would be my choice of red dot. As you mentioned the included iron sights which are amazing to what you typically find with AR rifles if they even come with them, are fairly low so getting that co-witness is something you have to plan for. I've got no regrets on my Evo 3 S1 and would highly recommend. Sounds like you're gonna go suppressed so you might be thinking subsonic ammo but I've seem some good recent vids on Hornady Critical Duty 9mm +P 124 gr hollow points and that's gonna be my go to anti-personnel ammo for both my Scorpion and my pistol (about 1350 fps through the carbine length barrel @ 500 ft/lbs of kinetic energy, pretty damn good for a 9mm!) I don't know about the other brand magazines but since they aren't that costly (even compared to a factory Glock 19 mag for example) I'd stay with the CZ brand mags, great quality for the cost.

This is an etched reticle prism scope, so you always have an aimpoint to look through whether the scope is powered on or off, so having a sight to co-witness isn’t necessary. Add in the effect of having that scope marked for the aimpoint of the rise of the scope for close quarter battle rather than distance? I think it makes the perfect PCC scope!

Ordered one on the PSA labor day clearance on these (obviously hasn't shipped yet, holiday was today)... $799 PLUS the $100 rebate, I couldn't pass it up... can't wait to put rounds through and do a review! Still not a ton of reviews on the 3+ out there yet. Ordering some spare 30 round mags from Midway at a nice price point too.

@@MyTriggerTalk I JUST FOUND ONE oops $829.00 no tax free shipping . Debating between this and a MPX Carbine . There are so many available I'm seeing them for as low as $1799.00 . The Scorpion I'd want the Timney trigger , and New stock . That's getting closer to MPX Price The Scorpion is cooler looking by far

@@cramerlong2276 is the $100 rebate still going? Maybe that will help out with that trigger. I would suggest the Nexus bolt if you go that route too…

@@cramerlong2276 it’s a stronger aftermarket replacement bolt. Timney triggers put a lot of extra wear on the bolt due to heavy firing, and some factory bolts have worn out prematurely. Keep an eye on the bottom of the bolt with every cleaning.

I just bought mine tonight. What mags should I buy? I heard the older scorpion mags do not work.

The only other mags other than the factory CZ stuff I have gotten so far are the Magpul P-Mags. They have the latch spot for the 3+. They fit, they run fine, but the only problem is they don't drop when hitting the mag release and have to be stripped. Their 35 round mag retails at 19.95. Keep in mind, you can find factory CZ 30 round mags for sometimes the same price or less!

Elite Tactical makes 30 and 40 rd. mags for the 3+. Scheels has them in store, but they don't show up on their website for some reason. They also eject a lot better than the pmags.

None with mine yet. I clean mine after every use, and I keep it well lubed, so thankfully I have yet to see any wear. I am going to a shooting demo Saturday, hoping to see an MPX there to try out!

@@MyTriggerTalk thanks . The Internet has lots of people who latch on to issues that are negative . Then make comments like theirs was even worse . And it's all Bull Obviously some people had issues . It just gets blown up . Yeah I am struggling with MPX vs Scorpion . Twice the price though

@@cramerlong2276 you’re welcome! Glad I could help! Of course, after attending “Suppressed Fest” yesterday, now the decision for me is which suppressor to put on my Scorpion. Hux WRX is still leading the way. Although the AKV I shot with a Dead Air suppressor yesterday was SO quiet…

Not yet, I haven’t messed with them in a while. I should have done it the other day, as I got some PSA AKV “banana” mags that I had to dremel the mag catch out for.

Ruger PC Carbine 9mm Does Everything The CZ Will Do For CQB & The Ruger Carbine Length Has Far Better Reaching Real Estate. Ruger Feeds Drums Better As Well Without A Wobbling Stock. However To Each Their Own.

@@dallasweber7692 accuracy? Done silver dollar sized groups at 100y with mine, and took it to second place in my class in the one competition I ran it in. In the 2000+ rounds I have put through it, it’s only had ONE misfeed that wasn’t caused by the crap AKV mags I got, it runs the drums just fine, and, the best part of the mags, they aren’t pistol mags, and are loaded just like rifle mags. I still hold a grudge against Ruger for something they did years ago to the workers in their NH facility, choosing to cancel their health insurance plans if they chose to ride a motorcycle. It will be a cold day in hell before I support Ruger.
